In the "everyone's different" category, I have found clover clamps tolerable to a point and the tweezer clamps that most people find less painful to be intolerable completely.

I guess I need diffuse pressure. I've yet to encounter a bottom who agreed with me on this, but if someone did I'd get it, where a lot of people respond to my assertion that I'm just trying to play tough or something.

I can't make tweezer or most alligator-type clamps stay on my nipples for any length of time. I don't have small nipples or anything; it's just that they won't stay hard without sufficient sensation. Sometimes, I even have the same problems with clovers, but not usually.

People always think I'm trying to be all badass when I say, "They don't hurt enough to stay on," but I'm really not. I have very little feeling in my nipples. Having my body reject two different sets of nipple piercings (I didn't know I was allergic to nickel at the time and had stainless jewelry in my holes) has deformed and desensitized them even more.

That being said, my personal favorite--though very ugly--clamps are piercing forceps. With clovers threaded between the holes when I'm in the mood. I nipple/breast torture. Way better than impact play.

I would go for the clover clamps, all the way. My partner, paramour, master, dom, insert correct title here, and I have been discussing which sort would be the best, for me. To figure this out, we've gone for a trial run with that old stand-by...clothespins. His orders were WELL received! Anyhow, as long as she likes something with an overall pressure and bite, definitely, absolutely, get the clover clamps. I'd say without the silly beading on the chain. I think whomever tried to jazz up the chains with beads did the serviceable objects a disservice!

I'm glad I found this... I've been experimenting with hair grips, with a necklace strung between them. Quite pretty but the rubberised ends of the purpose made clamps look much safer

it has been my experience if you just type in nipple clamps in the search bar you will see all the choices pretty quickly and prevent you from wasting your time.
