Pink Orchid 2026: Story Event for Women-Centric Erotica - Official Support Thread

Yes! Please post links to your stories, especially if it's not visible in tag search (ie. if you didn't use pink orchid as a tag). I'll read probably all of them as soon as I can, and I hope everybody does, there has been some truly excellent stories so far.

This damn story is still fighting me so I'm submitting the piece I originally planned on, but still hope to get through the other because at this point its becoming personal.
That feeling is essentially what got me through my last two stories.

My story got the first 🖤 ! That's awesome. Just 5 have voted. At least sime people reacts.😄

I have two stories in my head that could fit to this event. There isn't that much time remaining so maybe next year.

I started on mine yesterday and got to about 1400 words. I kind of know where it's going but I think I might need to plot it all the way, lest it ends up at my usual 15k+ and I won't get able to finish it in time.

“Laws of Nature” will follow a young woman environmental activist. While hanging a protest banner on an Arctic oil rig, she is abandoned by her team when discovered by security. In this strange floating city, she eludes her pursuers for only so long before being caught in the galley by the head cook. Slightly older, the down home Texas born cook takes the activist under her wing and tries to hide her. But being this close to magnetic North, the two soon discover one of the laws of nature — that opposites attract.
That's a very original storyline! I like it. Just make sure to make it clear that the FMC is not a Swedish blonde with curly locks and youthful face, who expels certain phrases with in a very breathy, accusatory manner ;)

I just submitted the final chapter of my series "Mage & Moonshadow", and tagged it with "pink orchid" (in the Admin note field too). I hope you do not mind: as I was selecting the tags I realised that women with agency are a strong feature of the whole series, so I thought it would be appropriate for your event.

Yes! Chapters are welcome, unlike in site contests.

I'm unlikely to submit a Pink Orchid this year. I have many unfinished stories, but for the last week I've been making progress on three of them concurrently -- which is interesting.

However, now that the Olympics are on, I'm thinking again of a story I have which takes place at a ski resort, and I wonder whether or not an adjunct to it might be suitable.
The main story involves a young lesbian couple and their single fathers on a ski trip. At the resort, the girls meet a third girl who has a single mother. So this adjunct would be about the two fathers and the mother -- it's a story I want to write anyway. I just wonder whether or not it would be suitable. I do think the woman will have agency even while enjoying an evening of temporary passion with two men.

Well...to show how my mind works, after I formatted the older story, I was getting tired and decided to call it a night. Woke up early, thought about it, had a moment of "Seriously, you loser, you can't finish a fucking story, how long you been doing this? Thought you never quit? Pfffttt.

So I took another look, got an idea, got another and finished it, and just submitted it after the fourth try and the </i> tags for some reason not cutting off where they should have so I gave up and removed them all for a brief text conversation. Got tired of it being a fight.

How long it takes to post we'll see.

The other issue will be when it does. I debated between BDSM and Fetish because its femdom which seems to be more successful in fetish as BDSM slowly devolves into 'real man' driven stories. But I was already in a mood-as the final sex scene will show, I was writing angry- and said fuck it, it belongs in BDSM and I don't kowtow to trolls I'll take the trolling.

My entry went up today for this contest.

It’s another entry in my “Vicky’s Toe Vixens” series of vignettes, which is an excuse to combine foot fetishism and sapphic encounters with the central point of a recurring protagonist. This one’s about a woman working in a hotel bar, named Emily (no relation to the forum’s own Emily by the way :D)

Either way, seemed a reasonable choice for the Pink Orchid! I hope that anyone who checks it out enjoys it.
