Just a quick question, how messy is shaving it the first time? Is there a special way to keep the hair from going all over?

OK... since we're all on such intimate terms...
For a first time shave...
Use a haircutting buzzer with AT LEAST an 1/8" guide... Sit on the toilet seat and let the hair fall into the water... THEN a careful woman friend could carefully shave the areas...
For normal maintenance, I use the haircutting buzzer ((what's the proper name for those things? Is there a hair stylist (is that the proper name for the job these days?)) set on on a low setting... the hair that's left is pretty fine and has the positive benefit of providing a little softness to keep skin from rubbing skin near your legs (ouch). The guide on the buzzer keeps you from nipping skin if you're at all careful.
