Am tempted to ask if you are doing that with a dust-pan and brush, but that would be mean.
Ok am off, sleep well Coolestofkats.

Oooh, a dirty stop-out. I like the sound of that.

The lampshade is a lovely deep rose color with fringe and a crystal finial. It's an antique, worn by my mother, and her mother before her for special occasions and holidays.

See? I don't need alcohol to sound like an idiot. I do quite well on my own.

YOU Lady fair are not an idiot.

This is a nice way to get up my post count, so I'll drink some sprite, cheers to post 98.

[awakens bartender w/ a righteous trout-smack]

[glares balefully as bartender gets cracking on those orders]

Long Beach Tea, please.
And how is this different from a Long Island Ice Tea (save for the obvious fact that you'd be using bottled Evian and natural fruits)?

A Long Beach Tea is the same liquors as a Long Island Tea but you use cranberry juice as the mixer instead of Pepsi/Coke or tea.

In fact, you can make a handful of different drinks by simply changing the mixer but using the same liquors as a L.I.T.

Electric Lemonade - change the mixer to 7-up or Sprite. Garnish with a lemon slice, an orange slice, and a maraschino cherry.

Eel's Tail - change the mixer to 7-up or Sprite and add a splash or two of midori for the green color

Blue Hawaiian - change the mixer to half 7-up or Sprite and half pineapple juice and add a splash or two of Blue Curacau for the blue color. Garnish with a wedge of pineapple, an orange slice, and a maraschino cherry.

Long Beach Tea--change the mixer to cranberry juice (some add a splash of orange juice as well). Garnish with a lemon slice, an orange slice, and a maraschino cherry or a straweberry--or both.

Thanks. These all look like more trouble than they're worth. I'll just enjoy my little snifter of scotch that I can pour in 15 seconds.

It's why most people don't drink such things unless they order them at a bar. I have all the liquors on hand but it's rare that I have all the fresh fruits on hand at one time. But, the garnishes can be skipped. There's just something about the garnishes though.

And a snifter of scotch is much preferred on this end most days, as well.

ed, are you getting drubnk? You'll get arrested for PUI--Posting Under the Influence! I'm not bailing you out, young man. ;)
But if he can PUI and still sound semi-coherent, then he's okay.

If, however, he starts in with crap like this. . .

Are you sure I can't get you something more fruity, with an umbrella and a plastic monkey on the side, ooh and sparklers?
