Pregnant at 43

Congratulations! I know a new baby is always exciting! I hope you have an easy pregnancy! :)

I have been digesting this since Thursday. Missing a period at my age is a pretty big deal with so many things it could be. In my case, it turns out I am pregnant. My younger daughter is 13, my oldest is in college. He said the baby is due in early March. I will be 44 by then. While wondering how I will cope, I am also excited.

I'm just now seeing this....I used to work in a hospital in the postpartum unit a couple of years ago. Having children into the 40s and even 50s is more common than you think. Just make sure that your Ob/Gyn visits are on point and read any material on staying healthy during your pregnancy.

My daughter was born when I was 19. Her daughter was born when she was 39. My granddaughter is now 9 and I am 69. Old, old grandparenting is not easy.

Congratulations! :nana:

My two youngest were born in my 40's and thankfully i had no more trouble with them than with any of my other births.

My eldest daughter and i got to experience pregnancy together when she was 18 and i was 41 and that was pretty awesome.

Enjoy the ride!:rose:

Hope this works out for you, hon! I'm working on my first one and at times I'm giddy as a schoolgirl and other times I'm scared as hell!
