Agreed, but not to the level of the picture (https://forum.literotica.com/threads/pretty-planes.1000074/post-99244695) I commented on... Even the best tape would not survive flaps extension during the take off.

SR-71B, 956. The final public display with it flying. This was Oshkosh, and they had a fuel line fail. They landed at Milwaukee where it was repaired so it could be flown back to Edwards AFB. The flight to Edwards was the last flight 956 made.

I happened to be at Reno-Stead shortly after they had done some maintenance on that aircraft. The pilot asked if I would like to go on a short test ride. I was the second person to climb on board. Very cool 15 minutes. Amazing, actually.
