Yes I mean group threads because I had an idea for a group thread I've done it before but it always dies on me..

i'm curious, what's the idea?

It's the dueling band idea. It never works because it always takes too many people, because we get like 5 people in each band, and we always have at least one person who goes all spotlight hungry and decides that they are the main character in the 10 character RP, and then things loose focus and it breaks down into people feeling left out and quitting and the people who are left over talking about how it is other people's fault that the game died out, and at the end we all swear never to do it again.

It's been a few months since we've attempted and I've almost forgotten the last time. I'm up for playing again. Oh wait, no, I have to wait until at least a week into the game to decide to join, don't I?

Summary? It can be summarized with the words "Dueling bands" or "Battle of the bands"

Really the idea is that there are two rival bands. I don't remember why they were rivals, because I have never been there for the start of it. I think in one of the instances some of the members had been together to form one band but had then split up due to artistic differences and formed two separate bands that were now rivals. It really didn't matter to me because I always ended up playing a string instrument kid who just moved into town and never once was part of a sex scene in these threads because I was the loner kid that nobody liked, and I always join in a week after the game has started and everyone has already figured out who is going to be have hot nails dragging down your back, screaming, sweating sex with by the time I join.

Anyway, not important.

They are both competing to win a local competition, a battle of the bands, and so they train and have interband relationships and all of the girls try to get their hands on the drummer's drumstick or whatever.

There is almost always a character who used to go out with one guy but now has sexual desires for another guy, and as a result she becomes the top of a love triangle subplot.

Anyway, like I said, I'd still join, because if I get in on this at the start, who knows, I might even get a romantic love interest for my character.

Here's the twist she awakes remembering nothing, her fathers palace has been ambushed by a rival kingdom and the prince uses the amnesiac princess as a sex slave not knowing that this was his betrothed under a peace treaty.

Wait...what?

How do you inherit a band?

I mean, I can believe something like:

Guy is put in charge of a group of secret agent girls (like Charlies Angels) after the previous guy who was in charge of them (his dad?) is kidnapped and killed.

But I have more trouble imagining the band idea.
