Considering the picture involved, do you think you could rephrase that.

What's your religion, Denae?

Sorry Erika, I was being a smart ass and should have probably said as much. I have no religious beliefs.

Valentine's Day became my least favorite holiday when I watched a co-worker emasculate her husband in front of all of us one year. Her husband adored her and put her on a pedestal. Poor guy, the first year they were married he didn't have a dozen red roses waiting on her desk for her to see first thing in the morning. By noon, she called & left messages on his phone. After the lunch hour, he showed up with a dozen roses and other wrapped gifts and she ripped him a new asshole for embarrassing her this way-by not having the roses first thing in the morning and for making her look like a loser who married an unromatic guy.

Never mind the fact that he had had other plans for them that day--he had pre-planned a romantic getaway, arranged with the bosses to give her the afternoon off so they could leave during the lunch hour.

Every year thereafter, he personally delivered roses first thing in the morning.
What a bitch. And no this was not an isolated incident, she was a complete and utter bitch-married to one of the sweetest guys I've ever known.

I feel bad for couples that put so much emphasis on Valentine's Day instead of seeing the smaller gestures of love and romance that can be exchanged on any given day and not when it's "expected."

i've heard, from a very reliable source, that the "sisterhood" members are all going to each get a tattoo of their logo on their ass. is this true?

Officially I have no comment.

Unofficially, they better lay in a huge supply of ink if they're gonna tattoo my ass. :D

Well I too have no official comment, but on the shy - if my butt can look like that picture after they are done - then I will be first in line for the tattoo.

A side note - I've actually been thinking of getting my belly button re-peirced....Hmmmm wonder if I am up to the hassle of taken care of it while it heals...since this is the Q n A, I better behave -

Ok a question.........do you have a body part peirced and if so - what?

She sounds like a real winner! Definately someone who gives women a bad name. Seems really irrational. Let me guess, this man continued(s) to put up with this treatment?

I'm like you Denae, I would prefer smaller gestures throughout the year that showed thought and care. It is nice to be remembered on V Day too but, not in that grand of a manner.

2 piercings on each ear, and my belly button till about 3 weeks ago when my body rejected it. Five more weeks and I am getting it done again.

What is your favorite spot for a piercing?

*Is it supposed to sting this long after having it done?* ;)

I only have one hole pierced in each ear. I had that done when I was 20! I never had a second set of holes pierced because I have the cutest freckle on my ear and it would cover it up. Besides, I figure I have enough holes in my head, I don't need more.

At one point in time, I had thought of getting a very small diamond stud in my nose...I'm just way too conservative to do it. Also, the idea of a teacher with a bunch of piercings...ehhhh, no.

Just the very traditional one hole in each ear. My daughter has a total of six holes in her ears. And my son just got his tongue pierced. Eww.

Ewwww is right! Did he happen to say how bad that it hurt? What's the healing time like? I was told when I got my belly button done, at least 6 months needed for healing. The guy who did my belly was very good - it nevered hurt - only hurt when I could not get it to heal up.

Me - I just have 1 hole per ear - had thought about a 2nd set of holes since I was 17, but just have not done it.

I've wonder about the nose piercing too - how bad it hurt etc.

fwiw, i have one hole in one ear... which means i can't hear in stereo.

j/k... one hole with a diamond stud... left ear if anyone cares to speculum as to my sexual orientation.

Two holes in each ear, and one small tattoo on my ankle. That's it. :)
you mean that's it until you get the sisterhood cafe emblem tattoo, right?
