it's a big kitchen, lots of floor to mop. usually takes me about an hour to do a real thorough job, but I also was on my hands and knees washing the base moulding too. my wife and daughter were watching some movie so the only way I could crank up some tunes was with earphones. music breaks up the monotony of cleaning.

when ej covered "pinball wizard" he threw a bridge in their that was a few bars from another who song. daltry did the same thing with "saturday night's..." when they threw in a few bars from another ej song. it's been so long i can't remember which one. lol.

someone has to do it. my wife is real good at keeping up with the laundy, and does probably 70% of the cooking. but when it comes to mopping, well, she usually does a quick job of it, and the kids are worse. It's one of those 'if you want it done right, do it yourself' type jobs. and she WILL NOT do bathrooms. the kids clean theirs and I do ours and the one in the laundry room. sometimes i might bribe my daughter with cash or an itunes card to do the other bathrooms and a mop of the kitchen floor, when I don't have the time to do it myself.
