now if only our AVs could rub chest to chest
I think we might start a fire if we did that. ;)

if it's reasonable to assume that jesus looked NOTHING like the images we're used to then why is it that when he appears in grilled cheese sandwiches and potato chips he doesn't look like the "real" him? and, if this is the case, i wonder how many things he HAS appeared in as his real self and it's gone unnoticed because no one knows what they're looking for. AND, if he ever does appear as his real self... AND someone recognizes it... how will that affect the market value of the past images?

How do you deal with your email?
Are you a forwarder, a deleter, a sender, a hoarder or something else?
What nasty/annoying email habits do you have?
Are you a diligent replier or do you fail badly in this department?

What other email questions could I have asked?

I have over 1000 e-mails in my Inbox.

I am careful about what I forward, because I know what a pain in the butt it is to wade through forwards. My sister sends me a lot of stuff and I usually delete it without even looking at it.

I do try to respond in a timely fashion. I think my annoying habits are with PMs. I often send them for no reason to people who are too nice to tell me to knock it off. ;) And I have a question. How does one gracefully end a PM exchange? How do you know that you've taken a series of PMs about as far as they can go? When does it become annoying?

who's brave enough to admit, "BeeG has sent me annoying PMs"? and if I haven't, let me know and I'll get right on it.

I'm a folder creater/sorter. I file emails away so well that even I don't know where I put them! My actual Inbox (at work, that is) has about 6 EMails in them - for things I still need to address/work on, etc. I usually delete prior replies in an email chain when I get a new response. My non-work email inboxes have very little in them also (again, more folders!) I don't usually forward stuff to others, but when I do, I "clean it up" all the forwards, the <<<'s as well as all the "forward this to 6 people and your crush will contact you tomorrow, if you don't forward it, you'll die an old spinster"

Here's a great proggie for removing the <<<'s.

Sternly, email needs some tough love at times :D

quoll said:

I rarely forward 'joke' (re: spam) emails unless they're unusually amusing, not a zillion years old, and/or someone asked me to. I generally delete random stuff, keeps some stuff ... I have folders to keep my Scout stuff separate from my online bill payment receipts from my private emails with hubby, etc. I guess it's more a keep/purge as at the end of the season (esp for Scouts, Band Booster stuff from daughter's band, etc) it all gets wiped so the new season starts afresh.

quoll said:

Not sure if I really have any. I rarely email, which could be a nasty/annoying habit I suppose...I'm an IMer (preferably voice). I'd much rather talk real time than email :)

quoll said:

I'm a replier unless I'm actively avoiding the person :)

How about:
* Do you have pretty/frilly/themed email stationary (that drives me bonkers...sooo hard to read most of the time)?
* Are you an addicted "Read Receipt" person? (I am)

I'm definitely a hoarder if it comes from someone I know, I keep them all, I even have a few that I will probably never read again as they caused me great hurt at the time.
I receive very little spam, and what I do get, I've usually asked for, but those I delete.

I'm a terrible replier, no, a really terrible replier, I reply constantly in my mind, it just never seems to make it to the keyboard, there are of course exceptions and occasionally someone will stumble upon the trick that nearly always get a reply, they ask me a question and like pavlov's dogs I'm trapped.

Like Leah I clean up all the forwarding mess, and send it on if it is actually funny.

My bad habit/guilty secret, I HATE any form of chain letter, good or bad, the chain stops here, no exceptions. If you are going to send me something, please remember that I appreciate it immensely, BUT I will not send it on to six people, I will not add my name to the list, blah blah, I just don't do chains (leather straps however...).

I also hate hoax emails, actually I'm probably more pissed off at the people who send them to me without doing a simple check first, if you do you may find out that little Jimmy was pulled out of the well in 1972 and is now a major porn star.
I don't get many of them now, most of my friends are smarter than that and the ones I do get I take great delight in informing everyone on the forward list (another good reason for cleaning up your forwards, not to mention the fact that you are sharing your friends addresses with who knows how many people (helloo spam)) how they were had.

I do not have frillies or smilies or any of that stuff, I may however personalise some of my mail if the occasion calls for it.

All my mail is read receipted. :)

Don't have a problem with PMs, so long as people accept my tardiness in replying.

Ooops it's here actually.

I stole some questions -- answer some, all or of course none.

Whats the weirdest phone convos you've had?

Who is the last person you held hands with?

If you were drafted into a war, would you survive?

Who can you always turn to when you need a friend?

Is there something you want that you can't have?

When last did you have an orgasm?

What don't you like about yourself?

What did you study?

What is something you do well?

What is something you don't do well?

Who can always turn you on?

Do you use drugs/ drink/ smoke?

Do you trust your intuition?

Are you into kinky sex? What kind of kink?

My daughter. Even at 15, she's doesn't mind :)

Cathleen said:

Possibly. I've had military training but it was years ago.

Cathleen said:
Who can you always turn to when you need a friend?
My husband who, after all these years, I'm finally seeing is not only the man I love, but my best friend too.

Cathleen said:
Is there something you want that you can't have?
Doesn't everyone want at least something? I'd love to be taller.

Cathleen said:
When last did you have an orgasm?
June 25th, the day my hubby left for Korea.

Cathleen said:
What don't you like about yourself?
My weight, but I'm losing it (safely). I'll get there eventually.

Cathleen said:
What did you study?
In College, I studied to be a computer DBA, in the military I was a cryptologic linguist specializing in the Vietnamese language.

Cathleen said:
What is something you do well?
Anything math related/detail oriented...bookkeeping, programming, etc

Cathleen said:
What is something you don't do well?
Anything artistic...I don't draw, sing, play an instrument, dance, etc well.

Cathleen said:
Who can always turn you on?
My husband. He's learning many of my 'buttons' and takes great glee in teasing me.

Cathleen said:
Do you use drugs/ drink/ smoke?
No (never have unless they were prescribed)/No (unless you count a glass of wine a year...I hate alcohol)/No (experimented when I was 12, it made me violently ill, never did it again)

Cathleen said:
Do you trust your intuition?
Usually not, but that comes from having little self-trust period. As I get more comfy with myself, I'm getting more trusting and accepting that maybe, just maybe, I can be right sometimes :)

Cathleen said:

Only lightly. Hubby is more conservative than I am, tho I love light bondage and sensation play. We're still pretty vanilla, but it's more a fancy brand than a store brand LOL
