Question about switching POV...

I used to be the same way. I liked having my readers know what both sides were feeling and enjoying. I started using a trick, sort of. Half way through a sex scene I would use a pov break and then back up a bit, writing the scene in the other's pov. You get both but still it's done correctly.

I might try that next story. I muddled my way through it from one POV. I'm actually REALLY nervous about the feedback on this chapter because I've never posted a "real" sex scene here. I hope I do okay.

I'll probably throw out a thread so you all can tear me apart later so I can improve... of course I re-read it and found some word repetitions and such... damn. I always find them AFTER I post and by the time I do find them I figure oh well...

(Hi DK :cattail:)

Hey, you'll do great. Your work is amazing, so don't worry so much. I found the more I worry about how good my work is, the worse it gets. If I relax and let it flow, it works so much better.

I suppose I should just learn to "let it go" but damn it! I'm a perfectionist. Oh well. (That's letting go... right?)

Oh, Elianna! Would you have any thing started in Sci-Fi/Fantasy? I'd particularly be delighted to see your style in alien worlds with different alien types of characters or human/humanoid characters interacting. Some of the fun I find in Sci-Fi is: The ability to creaate new societies and cultures never heard of Earthside. Love & Light-I'll be waiting for the new stuff even if there's a bit of a break between Falling and the new stuff. Quesla

I have a few sci-fi stories written, Quesla. You'll have to give me about 10 days before I post again because I'm trying to finish my classes for my master's. I made the promise that I wouldn't write anything else until the MA is DONE!

When that's done... I'll finish falling and post another one I think you guys will like.

*SQUEAL!* Oh Elianna! I've been a sci-fi fan since Star-Trek Classic and Battlestar Galactica, the original '79 Glen A.Larson 1 season only series that starred Lorne Greene & Jane Symour and Ritchard Hatch/Dirk Benedict! I'm even an Andre-Norton nut with Star runner? being my favourit book title. I've been looking for the sequel titles by Norton since I read them on Audio tape books from the Canadian National Institution Libarary for the Blind! Wouldn't you know it? -They do nothave the sequeals to nortorns star runner series even though it's a '69 or something old publication! That's far out of date and rusty old the system for blind book readers is!!! Why do you think I hang around here besides the sex?!!! Hah-ha ha ha ha! LLove & Light: Quesla
