So, did the snow knock out the power where you were? As usual, where I was was hit a lot less than either to the west (in the valley) or east (Richmond) of me.

No, no problems. I was in the Shenandoah Valley and there was some snow on Sunday night but it didn't amount to anything. Clear sailing back on Monday.

If ML is a moderator, then she can chime in whenever she likes, or not. I think it's a little insulting to insinuate that she might not have been reading this on her own, and decided to clarify the rule -- on her own.

And actually, no one said that people were not following the rules. It was pointed out that posting an entire story in a thread is against the rules, when it came up. The OP'er was just asking and never posted any piece of her story in the forum.

This turned into something crazy, and it just makes me not want to post anything in any place to do with stories if it's going to turn into some public fight. It doesn't make this look good to new people who are going to be coming in looking for help to see all the out and out bickering. This is my POV and I successfully ran a message board with several hundred members for several years until the board hosting site switched over and made everything weird and hard for us to move to the new server. I appreciate the constructive comments on the original question.

I also appreciate the people willing to let me send them my story to be looked over. I consider myself a rather creative writer and I have had some of my poetry published in local papers and so forth, so I do love to share my work and get other authors ideas and constructive feedback. But the bickering just makes me wary to comment and I hope it doesn't drive away any other people looking for help :/...

I made it clear I was writing a story for my fiance, that I didn't want to submit it to Literotica, but wondered if I could post it to the board. I also said I do write slightly unorthodox and that I had tried submitting something several years ago(stated SEVERAL times) before but it was turned down and I didn't understand why. I didn't come in and say "Hey, let's air all the random board past fights and fueds on a newer poster's first post in the writer's area!" Don't try and act like an arrogant ass hole when I came in and was being respectful. It's people who act like you are currently acting that runs off newer members and I can see why several people have advised I simply block you.

Again proof you didn't read my posts, you just skimmed what I have posted to find something to comment on. If you'll look at the post before my last you'll see where I said "thanks". Do I need to clearly tag you? Are you that desperate for attention that the fact that I didn't spell out your name in bright colors and bold just irks your pride? I did state the basics of what I was writing, that there wasn't anything underage and it was all legal. If I had been asked for the main storyline outside of PM then I would have posted it but all I had been originally asking was if I could post a story to the board and not to the main literotica site-so why go in depth about my story when I addressed the main thing that the board seems about(No underage stories)?
