Quote of the Day!

~ To dream anything that you want to dream, that is the beauty of the human mind.To do anything that you want to do, that is the strength of the human will.To trust yourself, to test your limits, that is the courage to succeed. ~
Bernard Edmond.

Loved this one Yeishia hun *hugs*

The sky was dark, the moon was high
We were alone, just her and I
Her hair so soft, her eyes so blue
I knew just what she wanted to do.
I didn't know how, but I tried my best,
I placed my hand upon her breast
Her skin so soft, her hair so fine,
I kept my fingers running down her spine
My pounding head, my beating heart
She slowly spread her legs apart
I swiftly moved between them then,
That's when the real fun began.
I pushed and pulled, I called her name,
Then all at once the white stuff came.
It felt so good, it's over now,
It was my first time...

Milking a cow!

(Saw your last quite Alana and I absolutely had to put this one up.)

Good one TLDG

The road was dark
The moon was high
The car did stop
I wondered why
He moved in close
and all went hush
He whispered softly
You'll have to push!!!

~If you want to be happy, be. ~

Leo Tolstoy

~The foolish man seeks happiness in the distance; the wise grows it under his feet. ~
James Openheim

~Man is fond of counting his troubles, but he does not count his joys. If he counted them up as he ought to, he would see that every lot has enough happiness provided for it. ~
Fyodor Dostoevsky

~Happiness is excitement that has found a settling down place. But there is always a little corner that keeps flapping around. ~

E.L. Konigsburg

~Happiness is always a by-product. It is probably a matter of temperament, and for anything I know it may be glandular. But it is not something that can be demanded from life, and if you are not happy you had better stop worrying about it and see what treasures you can pluck from your own brand of unhappiness. ~

Robertson Davies

If only we'd stop trying to be happy we could have a pretty good time. ~
Edith Wharton

edit: whoops! wrong thread! hmmm... good quotes... aha! Here's one!

In nothing is individual fancy so varied and capricious as in its perception of the horrible. To one person a story is terrible beyond all imagination: to another, it is merely grotesque.

Happy April Fools Day

"That sir which serves and seeks for gain,
And follows but for form,
Will pack when it begins to rain,
And leave thee in the storm.

But I will tarry; the fool will stay,
And let the wise man fly.
The knave turns fool that runs away,
The fool no knave, perdy."

~the Fool, AKA the wisest character in King Lear~

I have been thinking lately of what friendship really is; especially in the context of Lit.

To me friendship is a precious commodity, given in trust that the one who I assume (naively)will not knowingly hurt me.

Mine is given unconditionally and forever.:rose:

Quotes of the Day!

~Friendship, as understood here, is a distinctively personal relationship that is grounded in a concern on the part of each friend for the welfare of the other, for the other's sake, and that involves some degree of intimacy. As such, friendship is undoubtedly central to our lives, in part because the special concern we have for our friends must have a place within a broader set of concerns, including moral concerns, and in part because our friends can help shape who we are as persons. Given this centrality, important questions arise concerning the justification of friendship and, in this context, whether it is permissible to “trade up” when someone new comes along, as well as concerning the possibility of reconciling the demands of friendship with the demands of morality in cases in which the two seem to conflict ~
THe Stanford encyclopedia of philosophy

~Friendship is a plant of slow growth and must undergo and withstand the shocks of adversity before it is entitled to the appellation. ~
George Washington

~But friendship is precious, not only in the shade, but in the sunshine of life,
and thanks to a benevolent arrangement the greater part of life is sunshine.~

Thomas Jefferson

~ Friendship is always a sweet responsibility, never an opportunity. ~
Kahlil Gibran
