It is almost better to go with the new ones. You can get one of those and a PS2 for the price you would probably pay for a launch 60.

Now this is surprising.

Next purchase for me will be a Wii, I think. Then probably the new 360. But not until after I take a trip north in October...

I confess that there are definitely games on the 360 I want (Like DMC4, which doesn't require waiting for an install). A Wii would, for the most part, be used as an easier to acquire Component Ready Gamecube (though the Gamecube is, if made before 2004, HD-ready as well, unlike the Wii, which only goes up to ED mode)
