I just wanted everyone to know that I had intended on having the latest installment posted by now. Instead, midway through writing this one, I decided I didn't like it. After nearly 3,000 words, I decided it just wasn't "stimulating". So, I put it aside and started again.

That one is very close to being finished, but because of the holiday season, I've been busy doing other things. I thought sure I could get to it and finish it today, but that just didn't happen.

I've been to Houston. It's not that far and very much a straight line to the north.

It is not that I dislike snow, it is just that I have never seen real snow. We get it down here every so often but you can still see the grass through it.
