Unfortunately, it is not until afterwards (that is ignoring the preliminary signs of warning) you discover the damage has been done and is permanent. I agree. And like most things, each woman is different. The type of breasts a woman has makes a big difference too. If they are fibrous, fatty, dense, grainy, and if there are implants present; implant present and removed, hell all manner of differences.

I imagine there is not a way of knowing what will truly cause damage to an individual, unless you go too far, and then it may be too late.

I always like to err on the side of caution.

Thanks for finding the exact link I wanted. The time limits are not as important because not only is each woman different, but each woman may be different daily.

So erring on the side of caution is a good idea.

Just for future reference hon - on a PC running Windows, press and hold down the ALT key and then tap the F4. That should close any windows/programs that are currently open.

ALT+F4 also works on those pesky damned pop-up ads that take over your whole screen and don't leave you with a close button in top right corner or your toolbar at the bottom.

My ex used to tie my breasts so tightly they quickly went several shades of purple then black.

As for the photo, the genital areas have been photoshopped and I don't even need shadows to tell that, it's the textures but the breasts don't appear to have been shopped but I question the skin area on her chest where the ropes are applied. Might have just chopped and shopped in breasts from another bondage photo. Welts look manipulated too.

There was at one time, when I was in california in a bookstore I came across a rather large (coffee table style) photo book in documentary style that detailed the WWII atrocity of the Rape of Nanking in China. I saw some images of what the Japanese were doing to female prisoners and it makes this extreme photoshop look like a Walt Disney cartoon.

But, blech... that's just nasty in my opinion.

Perhaps they just didnt read between the lines. That pic is horrifying to me too, I ask a lot of questions because what I have read in the books and on the internet is not always gospel either. I see pictures that I have to wonder if that person didnt end up in the hospital immediatly afterwards. And there are sections in the thorns and roses book that are wrong, at least for us (dont do this and cant do that sort of things). I am exploring new things and want to damn sure I never do anything damaging, physically or mentally.

It is a good thing to aim for, but most will tell you that at some time no matter how much care and preparation is used, something will go wrong..just be prepared as best you can. For example, we have done bondage from the first night we met, never an issue no matter how restrained I was, in fact I found it comforting and often a cure for insomnia...unfortunately the first session where he went to restrain me following my father's suicide I totally freaked out majorly and without warning for either of us. Two years later, and after a lot of patience on his part, and working together two steps forward, three steps backward at times, we are still not back where we were and while it is OK one day, just seeing cuffs or rope the next day can send me into mass panic attack.

Well we must consider the source. It is always easy for someone who does not know the people involved to breeze in and pronounce someone "sick". One has to wonder if perhaps he sees something in himself he has not come to terms with.

Nope, everybody I know of has retained their mammaries! It would be pretty hard to castrate breasts in that way - it's hard enough to castrate balls using an elastrator band, you have to leave it there for a couple of hours at least, and that is MUCH tighter than this. (By the way, that link has some shocking pictures...not for the squeamish. BME is a great place to see this kind of extreme stuff...that's why I have the membership, mwahaha!)
