I try to write but I can never stay focus. It's like all my thoughts start off as this neat line and then suddenly it's a fucking jumbled mess. I get frustrated and stop. Rinse and repeat.

I've been reading porn stories online to masturbate to for most of my adult life, going back to the usenet days. I just started to have more vivid fantasies recently for a specific reason, and realized that I could probably write some of those scenarios going through my head down. Also part of the reason is that I find with some of the stories I read recently, I was able to notice the specific things I disliked in how they were written (boilerplate backstory, overly concerned with realism) and once I realized I was almost editing them in my head, I figured I should take a shot at putting my fantasies down.
