This is not the first time the failed attorney general candidate has been sanctioned by a court. Last August, Hamadeh and the Republican National Committee were sanctioned for their conduct in a different lawsuit contesting the results of the 2022 attorney general election. Fellow election deniers Kari Lake (R) and Mark Finchem (R) — who lost their respective races for governor and secretary of state — were also sanctioned for falsely representing facts to the court and peddling bad faithclaims.

That was really interesting. It’s rare to hear about what’s going on in Montana. And I didn’t know that the abortion vote in Florida requires 60% to pass, which will turbocharge voter turnout.

Yeah, Brian does a good job of covering stories that most of the media misses or glosses over. But his series with the guy from Democracy Docket, Elias, is extremely informative, relevant, and interesting. I personally suggest subscribing to Brian Tyler Cohen.
 
An "Inside Baseball" -level breakdown and analysis of the ongoing battle between Jack Smith and Judge Aileen Cannon in Trump's documents case. If there actually is any justice in this world, this judge will be removed from this case and any appropriate sanctions will be applied to her. She's about as corrupt as they get. And if Trump ends up winning, you can expect her to be on a very, very short list of potential Supreme Court nominees.

 

Top Republican Says Party Base 'Infected' by Russian Propaganda​


Russian propaganda pushed by the Kremlin has "infected" part of the Republican base, a senior GOP congressman has said, as indications grow that a vital U.S. military package for Ukraine will come up for a vote with U.S. lawmakers this month.

"I think Russian propaganda has made its way into the United States, unfortunately, and it's infected a good chunk of my party's base," House Foreign Affairs Committee chair and Texas Republican, Michael McCaul, told Puck News.
