How many actual supporters are at his rallies anyway? There are a few dozen stalking him from rally to rally, boasting about how much they spend on the posters plastering their old school buses. There are party activists packing the bleachers behind him, applauding inanely.

Then there are the victims of red state education policies, reduced to answering adverts like this.

Hey, you know the guy wants to get elected. Of course, he lies out both sides of his mouth when attempting to do so. And we all know he can't keep his stories straight – is he for releasing drug dealers and for prosecuting drug deals? Of course, he is! It's appeasement season. No one has listened to the content for two different days - MAGA mania prevails.

What counts is you bought the t-shirt, carried the sign with his name, showed up at the rally expecting to get the promised money for attendance. That's the idea - gather together in a great show of support!

This was fucking appalling:

Hamilton was overseeing the trial of a man charged with sex crimes against minors. According to court transcripts, Hamilton accused the victims’ mother of bringing them to court late and previously being uncooperative with the state’s lawyers. “I’m going to take you into protective custody to ensure your appearance here at trial,” Hamilton told the mother, ordering that she be handcuffed, detained throughout the trial and denied an attorney. Hamilton also said that the victims should be turned over to Child Protective Services. Court staff were so unsure of how to execute their orders that the bailiff explained to Hamilton that they “don’t know how to book” the mother.

The mother of the victims, whose name is being withheld to protect the identities of her children, said she spent her four days of incarceration worrying about her daughters, crying and asking court staff, “How can you hold me if I’m not charged with nothing?”

The judge put the victims’ mother in jail, and the victims were turned over to protective services. WTF? God damn piece of shit has no business being a judge, but the Republicans on the state Supreme Court protected her.

The Republican chief justice of the court also pushed forward an investigation of a Democratic judge on the Supreme Court, because of course he would. Pure scum.

Republican law & order is famous for being anything but.
