That means the resources right now coming from some of these industries, particularly the people that are trying to get the government contracts or at least the government out of their way so they can do their jobs, they have to say what the government wants them to. I happen to live in WI. The governor here is utterly useless. But to address what I presume is a dig at Walker, first, unions were not destroyed. They were made optional. If they had the value they claim, and those forced to join a union of people who did not build the business who now want to dictate how a business they don't bear any consequence for if it fails should be run, if those forced to join in order to get or keep a job saw value in it, they would voluntarily sign up for it. The state unions were ripping off the state and using their clout to help those get elected who promised the unions more government money. People who fundamentally opposed the existence of unions on a moral basis were having to join or be jobless, or at least be excluded from decent paying jobs because of the forced unionization in workplace after workplace.

Right to Work, both in WI and in IN, where I originally hail from, has been what SAVED the job markets in these states. And it has forced to few unions left to function effectively for members and work reasonably with employers instead of striking for outrageous demands.

And, oddly enough, no one, Dem or Republican, has shown the slightest interest in repealing Walker's reigning in of the union behavior. You know why? He was proven right, it worked, and everyone is better off for it.

I don't engage and feel good language that makes people of various intersectionality groups feel good about themselves and have warm fuzzies. But what I do is engage in belief systems that raise everybody including minorities of various ethnicities and people groups and identities and whatever else you want to throw in there. The results of conservative policies are always those that make people's lives better. The results of democrat policies that have soft pretty language that make people feel good at the front, always end up making people's lives worse. I support unions. Unions are the only thing that we have to represent the workers in place of business greed and malfeasance.

This statement alone is proof of your socialism. You view capitalism and free market economies as greedy and maleficent. Those people who work in those companies if they break something they don't have to pay for it the company does. If they screw up product after product after product and end up costing the company a fortune the company pays for it and possibly goes under because of them. Those employees have no base stock in the company's success or failure. In fact the company, if they were to quit, would just go out and hire somebody else. The employees are eminently replaceable. The company on the other hand is the one creating the jobs, paying for all the benefits, dealing with all the cost of everything from taxes to direct deposit of checks, and taking all the risks involved in owning a company. Of course the company should be the one who has final say and ultimate say about anything involving employment there. If you don't like what you're making an hour leave and get another job. If others rush into fill the void, you were getting paid what you were worth. If others don't that means the company has to change something or go under because they can't get employees. The market does a really good job of regulating itself on these things. It doesn't need unions or government anymore to do any of this.

There was a time when there were points the unions were making that were valid. Child labor is now illegal. Slave labor is illegal. There are practices that businesses had that were unsafe practices that are now illegal. I've never said no regulation. I've said limited regulation. Limited regulation goes to the core of what a government's job is: to protect the Innocent and leave them free to function as free people to do what's right.

And when you get to the history of the unions and their ties both to Marxist communism and to the mobs, even in their very history they are wrong headed. But that wasn't what was addressed there. What was addressed was that right to work states make it so people can choose whether or not to be part of a union without having to worry about whether or not they have a job based on that choice. You're all about choice right? Shouldn't my father have had a choice of whether or not to join the union and still be able to have a good job? Shouldn't my father have had the right to be hired at GM, without being tied to unions that he had moral objections against, if GM wanted to hire him? Shouldn't teachers who don't believe in the morals or values of the Democrat party, and therefore don't want their money and funds going to support things that they don't believe in, shouldn't they have a right to teach and do the job of teaching that is an angel's mission, if they're qualified, without being forced to join to some teachers union that they don't believe in? That's what right to work states do. It leaves people free to choose. Your side claims to be the party of choice and the only choice you believe in is the choice to choose what you believe in.

Do you know why I make 12 an hour? Because small businesses and small franchises can't afford the $18 $20 an hour that other big corporations can afford. The very coffee shop that AOC was working at when she was at home, they closed down and they explicitly said it was because of the rise in minimum wage that was being pushed on them. Small businesses can't afford these huge salaries. And the big businesses and the big corporations that you're so quick to condemn, they're the only ones that can afford to pay people $18 to $20 an hour. And they're starting to do it. And their prices on their products are skyrocketing creating inflation because someone has to pay for that huge pay increase. And so now the value of the dollar drops and so you may see a bigger number in your paycheck but how far it goes decreases. It's basic economics 101.

I'm not sure you want that. I mean that means you have to admit and track the money coming into your campaigns coming from communist and socialist sources. You also have to admit the illegal campaign funds coming from foreign agencies who are trying to affect the election. You have to give the sources of things like the Steel Dossier. You have to admit Iranian and Russian campaign funding coming into your camps. You have to admit to the corrupt relationship that your leadership has with the Ukraine.
