There's no reason it couldn't be posted about publicly, except that I wasn't sure what she was looking for, and magical practice seemed off-topic to me.

Dream gave a good overview and some excellent links. If anyone's interested in specific spells, incantations, etc., I might be able to help you out. Please keep in mind, though, that I've been a practicing witch for more than a decade, and I don't consider the use of magic a subject of humor or something to be taken lightly. There's a great deal of responsibility that comes with using your energy to affect the world around you; bear that reponsibility in mind when considering sex magic. Magic isn't for dabblers. (Not that there's anything wrong with curiosity.)

Before Embracing my Islamic faith I was also a "practicing witch and member of a coven in Green Bay, Wisconsin , Risia so I have nothing but the highest respect for you .. I definately agree that it is NOT a matter to be taken lightly at all.. Our particular coven got way too much into sexual rituals for me , too fast I was very comfortable learning spells but I was also Married to a self-professed 'warlock at the time too..It got to be very overwhelming to me as it recquired greater responsibility and desire than I really had at the time .. However I am still fascinated with both Wicca and any and All forms of " Magic" " Blessed be to Risia"

Thanks, Risia! I can see what you mean about its maybe being off-topic, but I guess the cat's out of the bag now. Anyway, I hope none of us have offended with our light treatment of this thread. I'll admit that Never and I were kinda playing games with each other last night when the subject came up. However, it's clear that this subject deserves respect and thought. Moreover, you're right to point out that it's important to act responsibly in every pursuit, particularly when your actions are likely to affect other people. This 'moral of the story,' at least, is certainly applicable to a BDSM board.

Seriously folks, it's been seven years already and Risia's still practicing magic, it will be another two a half years before she gets her MkD. That alone should tell you not to take this lightly.

Yah, I’ve been ‘practicing’ (I suck at being religious) for three years now. I don’t think I’ve never cast a spell spell, I wouldn’t know how and I’ve never felt the need to. If I want something to happen, it seems much more efficient to actually do something instead of channeling energy. Besides, I always found spell casting to be a tad.. I don’t know, rude?

‘Hey, Universe, do me a favor? Yeah, I know you’re doing things your way, but I find that rather bothersome so do it my way instead.’

Moreover, I’m a solitary, how do I know the stuff I read in books is correct? My luck I’ll do it wrong and piss something off.

Heh. I've never believed that the actual *words* are the primary factor. The words, like the ritual, are primarily a way to let your focus your energy.

And, I don't often cast spells, and I never work dangerous magic.

I'm solitary now. I used to cast with my sister and occasionally my mother.

As-soon-as-you-get-out-of-the-house is a great time to start in my family.

I’ll agree that they’re not a primary factor but I think words are always important. Words are a big part of how we conceptualize our reality, which makes them magical in a way.

This will probably come as a shock, but small Christian colleges in Nowhere, Texas don’t seem to have very active wiccan/pagan populations. Last May Day I bought lilies and cards for all of the girls in my cluster. I think they still don’t know why I did that.

thats a double negetive ... meaning you have cast spells wiccans are tricky with how they use words


i know next to nothing about magic sex and wiccans but i've always found witches sexy and sexual

i think i just fell more in love with the idea though knowing risia and never are into that sort of religion/lifestyle though

Olympics-level gymnastics, Formula-One racing and King-Cobra handling are not for dabblers. Magic is eminently suited for dabbling. Some dabblers end up finding deeper levels and cease dabbling; others, never energetically suited for magical endeavour to begin with, move on, never having reached the point where their dabbling could become any more dangerous than any other likely pastime such as narcotics abuse.

An interesting side-shoot of this discussion would be sex and religion. Almost every religion I have looked into uses or abuses sex... Magic goes hand in hand with some religions, and the Pagan beliefs are a good example of combining the three.

Also just out of interest, I am partway through writing the next chapter in a story I'm working on which is a fantasy where sex IS magic...
