In my defense I was not watching it AS a Christmas movie, I just like it and it was added to streaming. But it IS set at Christmas, as Shane Black’s movies typically are. And they are all, typically, better than Die Hard

I do love The Long Kiss Goodnight, regardless of its status as a Christmas movie or not. Speaking of Shane Black, I also love The Last Boy Scout, which he wrote. Underrated and wrongly disparaged. But The Predator was unmitigated liquid crap.
