Where in the bible does it say that masterbation is a sin? Lets work on this one first. It does say many things. But I don't remember anything about masterbation. Can someone point me to the place where it says that you can't play with yourself?

It doesn't.

But it's just like anything else. Everything is okay in moderation. I think that if getting off becomes so... so... addicting that it prevents your life from operating normally, from helping people, makes you neglect your responsibilities, then it's bad.

Just like alcohol. Bible doesn't say not to drink, Bible says getting drunk leads to other bad stuff and that it's better to be filled with the spirit. Does that mean drunkeness is wrong? No. Does it mean it can make it 100x easier to do something wrong? Yes.

I have issues with people who take something the bible says, and changes into something else (not talking about you, my friend) -- like the evangelists who sit there, wave their Bible asking for money and condemning everything and everyone, then passing 5 hungry people on their way home to their mansion. It's just not right. If you wanna know what the Bible says about something, read it. Academically, it's a great book to study. Helps to clear up a lot of misconceptions about Christians/Christianity, too.
