Good morning!

I hope everyone is doing well! I know I sound like a broken record but I can't thank you enough for all your comments!

So! I actually felt warm enough to take coffee pics this morning! No fleece, no socks (sorry UglyJoeSmith), no long sleeves, no robe. YEA!!! Then I went outside and took the first outdoor nude photos of 2017. It was only 59º but you can feel the warmth of the sun and the change in the air. I'll post those later.

It's going to be in the low 80's starting the 9th!! YEA again!

My Favorite Band is from Tempe Az and they go to Mexico to play at least twice a year. Do you go to Rocky Point.

Photobuff.... I have been to Rocky Point quite a few years ago. I do have friends that love to go for weekends. MrSB and I talk about it but never seem to make it there. Who is the band? Bad Sneakers is a local band that plays Steely Dan music. They are incredible. All professional musicians that get together occasionally for fun.

Lit peeps....Rocky Point is in Mexico about 3.5 hours from PHoenix, on the Sea of Cortez and quite beautiful.

I have errands to run, a contact lens fitting and then a massage! I'm going to try one lens for reading.

My photos that the photographer took are framed and ready! I'm excited to see them! It will be strange hanging nudes in my bedroom but kind of cool at the same time!

I thought that a wet tank top in the bathtub would be fun.....

I forgot to tell you!

MrSB got the microwave fixed. There are 9 screws in the back. 7 are phillips and 2 are weird. Star shaped which we had a bit for. BUT, a metal point in the middle that prevented the typical star-shaped bit from fitting in the hole. So, then it became a contest of wills. lol MrSB vs GE. He won! Got some vice grips and was able to grip the screw and turn it.


Yesterday, I walked into the garage and stepped on a cactus spike. Yikes, that hurt! I tried to gently pull it out and no go, hurt too much. So I took a big breath and yanked. Damn! Not only are these needle sharp, they have barbs.

Good for MRSB! I have fixed many of our appliances by first doing a youtube!!! Damn, that cactus spike was huge!!!! Must of hurt like a bugger!

Kudos!

Kudos to MrSB for being willing to fix the microwave! The replacement for that stupid bulb probably cost $50 because he had to buy both the new bulb AND the permanently attached base. But a service call would have made the repair almost as much as the microwave is worth. So he actually saved $800 because SB didn't have to go out and buy a new one with all the latest bells and whistles!

GE have a lot to answer for, It's ridiculous that they effectively prevent owners from replacing a bulb, but didn't allow for the sheer determination of your good man.
I had a similar problem with a fridge that the shelf lugs broke off, and they wouldn't supply replacement unless they were fitted by their engineer at a cost of £80.00 even after I explained that I removed the shelves frequently to clean!
