Welcome back!
Welcome back! Sounds like a hectic trip, inhale peace, exhale stress.
Fantastic pics! We are all very glad that you don't like clothes....anywhere! Looking great and thanks so much for sharing...hope the next set has you facing forward.
Good morning!
Made it home safe and sound last evening! I was/am one tired chick!
So, to add to the laptop saga, my battery died while in KC. So I've ordered a new battery! I feel like I'm building a new computer!
My toe is healing. Still a little sore, but much, much better.
On Friday we went ot KU Med center for a cat scan with contrast. My mom's creatinine was elevated to 2.2 so no cat scan. They rescheduled it for yesterday with fluid infusion.
We got to KU Med center at 6:30 am yesterday again. We went to the wrong department but they checked her in and we waited. Then at 8am we were directed to another department who said we needed to be on the 4th floor infusion department. My sister heads up with mom. Then the Doc's patient coordinator came out and said no, not the 4th floor but the heart cath lab again.
They were squeezing in my mom and the infusion lab was full so they were doing the fluids in the heart cath. Ok, try to call my sister in a huge hospital where cell phone reception is crap. Finally at 9am mom is in the bed in the right place receiving fluids. 2 hours of fluids. Then a 10 minute cat scan then 4 hours of fluids.
We left at 4pm and they took me to the airport. I was sad to leave my mom but so happy to be home and feel MrSB's arms around me.
He's golfing this am and it was nice to sleep in.
I am not going back when mom has her stent put in. But I will go back when she has the TAVR procedure and she'll be in the hospital for about a week.
While all that was going on yesterday, my sister had an appointment with oncology about a cyst on her thyroid. Last fall, she was told it was cancer by another hospital, that it wasn't cancer by a 2nd hospital. However, yesterday she was told again it's cancer by the oncology dept at KUmed. Needless to say, she's a bit freaked out.
I think that's all the stuff going on! I just want life to get back to normal! Well, whatever that is!
Thank you all so much for your continued support and wonderful comments!
I still have some red/yellow pics. You know I don't like wearing clothes outside so lets get them off!
