Short (Heighted) Guy Appreciation Thread

I'm m 5-4, my spouse has 6 inches on me...

Did some stats many years back. females 5-4 and under are 1 in 20. I like to actually be taller by an inch plus, and that drops the population to 1 in 100.

Not a big pool of people out there for us short people.

PS Trivia: The Randy Newman song "Short People" was actually about neighbor kids bugging him one day.

I'm 5'2" on a good day, so no- short guys Are fine with me. I'd like him to be taller than me, but that doesnt take much ;)

Well guys, This seems to be the "short folks evening, but know this. I like shorter men! Taller than me, as Sheryl said, "Which isn't hard to do" or words to that effect. At 4'11", doctor says I've lost and inch, but I'll stay with saying my tallest height. :D My entire family was small, including my papa and all the other makes in the family.

But we women seemed to make up for the lack of height with larger busts. :D True statement!. :D
My husband was 5'7" and I thought he was tall! :)

Not sure where you got your stats! The average American woman is 5'4".

Looked at some numbers again...

For females younger (age 20-40), about 45% are 5-4 or less. 20% are 5-2 or less.

Empirically speaking
, I stand on my original statement.

At least where I hang out, I almost never look down to meet a girl's eyes. :(

depressing

Thanks for starting this thread Surreal, 5-5 straight guy here, but not sure it's making me feel better.

List of good things about being short:

-shop in the kids section, clothes are cheaper
--related- why isn't there a "petite" equivalent category for men? always hard to find my size adult clothes. either not available or it's all sold out so there must be a market and demand for xs, small size. very rarely see xs, small in the bargain section...

-never feel cramped in the airplane or small cars
-humility
-?
-??

Feel free to contribute (please, help, anything! haha) to this list.
