Short paragraphs? Why?

When I write longer paragraphs, I ask myself if I can't break them into two paragraph. The "wall of text" is something I try to avoid, since it makes it harder for the reader, I think.

I don't like really long paragraphs, a wall of text. I don't think there's a reason for that unless you are maybe giving a characters thoughts and want to create a stream of consciousness effect or something.

Other than that, I think Andersons gave solid advice.
