Shy's quaint country cottage

laughign
well, I was dressing for effect, not, um, effectiveness
though I think I did a decent job staying upright!
*Giggles and nods* Yes, you did incredibly well to keep going!

*With a deep sigh she shakes her head at Vail, a small smile upon her lips. Standing, she slowly makes her way and extends her hands down to Vail, an invitation to help her stand*

Come on...we must get those toes some relaxation...I have a foot bath in the bathroom *smiles softly*

accepting the offered hand...always a little surprised when I finally get myself perrched up on these beasts...I feel very tall

I'll have to get rid of these stockings too

*Pulls Vail up and watches in shock how she towers above her as she stands completely. With an amused grin she shakes her head...*

Vail...really...do you need heels THAT big? I feel like a smurf compared to you...

*With a little giggle she wraps her arm around Vail's waist and guides her into the bathroom. She gestures for Vail to sit upon the antique white wooden chair as she goes to retrieve the foot spa. She returns a few moments later with lavender oils and a tub filled with warm, bubbling water*

Tsk tsk... I know how you love shoes, but your poor toes must suffer at times!

actually...glancing at the clock its kind of late for me given how late I was up last night.
Maybe you'd let me soak my feet in your magic oils another time>
I'd like that

*smiles warmly and nods*

Of course...it was a pleasure having you here as I jammed my blues away. Enjoy the rest of your evening Vail.

*She escorts Vail back to the front door and finishes her goodbyes, a small giggle leaving her lips as she watches Vail try to walk upon the large stones of her pathway. With a soft sigh she returns back to the lounge room, her body finally free of the built up anger she was harbouring earlier today. With another soft sigh she sits upon her piano and begins to play her favourite song...*

slips in...leaving a note:

Dear Dancing Queen,
I have been contemplating your wisdom regarding my choice of activities (dancing) and footwear (crazyheels). You've made a powerful and compelling argument that I simply can't undermine. Certainly, for dancing at home or at friends, I have made atrocious errors. I do hope to learn from them, and hope you will continue to point out my general silliness.
On the plus side, stockings do work as well as socks once the shoes come off (albeit slightly more expensive should ripping of some kind occur)
I bow to your superior wisdom, and look forward to your future pronouncements from on high.

a smile drawn in bright red lipstick

slips out, also with a smile of bright red lipstick

*Silently slips into the lounge room from her private bathroom, her body relaxed and deliciously soft from her bath, wrapped within her favourite robe. With a satisfied little sigh, she sits upon her piano stool and begins to play a piece that seems to fit her reflective mood.*

*whistles at Shy's outfit*

peeks through the window
-Gives Vail a friendly boost-
*Hears soft shuffling outside her window. With a curious gaze she opens the front door to find Vail being gently boosted up by Light Ice. She can't help the small little giggle that slips from her lips at the sight of a man in between Vail's legs.*

You know you guys can just come in as you please. There is no need for such secretive peeking.

*She opens the door, the heat of the blazing wood fire wafting passed her skin as a warm smile creeps to her lips as she looks at the pair*

:p I need RP but no one's on yet.

*Turns to dragon with a small pout on her lips*
Oh? Well, when will they be on?

Not sure. Zy and Luna have been on. Zy hasn't posted yet, and Luna's been unable to for a while.

*She watches Vail creep through the window, her mind impressed at the woman's flexibility. A soft sigh caressing her lips as she wonders why Vail just didn't use the door...Wrapping her robe around her a little more firmly, she disappears into the kitchen, returning a few moments later with a platter of fruit and cheeses and a bottle of wine. She places the silver tray upon the coffee table and then settles into her favorite chair, her skin greedily lapping up the warmth of the fire.*

Awww dragon...be patient. I am sure they will have some amazing posts up soon enough...*smiles softly*

slithering to the sofa...cursing myself because I wore stupid heels again, though no where near the absurdity of that last time...still, if there's dancing, there will either have to be a nice foot bath or the damn things will just have to go

I hope so. I have about a week left in the month.....

*watches Vail slither into the chair, an amused smile upon her lips*
Comfortable now?

*With a warm smile she pushes the platter towards Vail in offering. Curiously she turns back to dragon.*

Awww dragon, why only a week? Are you leaving?

nibbles on a juicy strawberry, licking up the pulp from her lips, and pours a glass of wine

No. I'm disabled, so I only get money on/around the first. Aside from money owed to me, anyways. About all I can actually do is computers, and no one really takes you seriously in that field without a degree....

*Watches Vail help herself to the platter from the corner of her eye. Her attention remains on dragon*

Awww, I completely understand. It actually really annoys me, most people with a piece of paper actually have no clue! Would it cost a lot for you to get some kind of paper at all? At least that way you would have a foot in the door...

licking red fingers then taking a sip of the wine...liking how its sweetness mixes with the strawberry, adding a new layer to the treat, and color to her lips

Well, a standard computer IT degree is four to six years (depending on the specific discipline). an Associate of Science is 2 to 4 depending on where you go. Either way, I'm ineligible for financial aid because of being forced by other people to abandon college twice. It'd cost me about 10 to 20 grand to pay all that off so I could even consider trying again.
