Today I received a very sweet text message from someone who is fast becoming a special someone. I decided to save it here because it was in regard to me sharing my writings with him, which is something I very rarely do with those in my real life.

"I want to see all sides of you...it's nice to see that your creative side is as pretty as you are."

I want to know when part of me became broken. (trying to figure this out)

I want to hug a cousin I can't right now.

I want... yes.

Maybe I'm broken ... because I can't admit something that happen to me.
 
Failure... the definition that has become my life.
The only thing that keeps me around is my kid.
I'm trying to keep that in mind.
I'm not as strong as people think or even as I tell myself.

We are not defined by the moment of failure, but by the moments after. You are still ticking, and so you are defined as such. When you tell yourself you are strong, stop there. "As strong as..." is only an opening for doubt. You are strong. That is enough.

Dropping a satchel just inside the door she begins to sweep through her humble abode dusting away the cobwebs, stocking shelves and fluffing pillows as she plans to stay for a spell to hopefully find some inspiration to write; the universe knows she needs a little inspiration!
