Generally I feel slutty is used to describe someone who is not only promiscuous but has an unhealthy self esteem. It's used in a derogatory way. To me slutty is being sexually confident and eager to please and be pleased out of the joy and passion of sex. Not to fill an emotional void or for acceptance. The confident eager slutty is extremely hot!

I agree. I don't think slutty necessarily implies low self esteem. That's an issue unto itself. Low self esteem women often have sex, even promisuous sex because they some how feel like they HAVE to to gain "love" or some level of appreciation from a man.

The kind of slutty women I like, are slutty because they ARE sexually confident. They LOVE being slutty and pushing the envelope and behaving outside the box (no pun intended). Exactly. It's comparable to a man because called a "stud" because he enjoys sex and is not afraid to admit it. Sure, many people have tried to make it a derogatory word, and in some cases I think it probably has worked. (Or, certainly can be offensive in certain context.)

Before I get a ton of hate mail, hear me out. When I was a kid, nobody got tattoos but seamen and bikers, yet I wanted to get one when I got old enough. However, when I DID get old enough, I saw many of my peers were also getting tattoos, so I didn't. I wasn't afraid to get one, I just like to not follow the crowd.
Fast forward 20 years and everybody and his brother has a tattoo it seems, even kids are getting tattoos (12-16 year olds)! Having a tattoo is pointless now, people get them just because "it looks good".

If every woman started to be slutty, then saying "she's a slut" would become meaningless and people would say "Yeah, so what? So is my sister, my brother and my dog."

Guys desire sluts because they are different than "nice girls" but if sluts became the standard, then guys would desire "nice girls" and frankly, I like to desire "sluts".

The question then becomes whether women should even be categorized as "sluts" or "nice girls"; to withdraw the question all together and simply accept women as they are!

To this I say; to withdraw the question would mean you would withdraw desire, and why would you want to withdraw desire?

I have question for you guys.

I still remember this one girl from my high school who had big title of slut but always surrounded by boys.
