Well it was nice today upper 70's low humidity.. But as the night goes on the humidity seems to be rising.. Maybe some rain and higher temps coming.. Bleck

Sydney weather last night and today was absolute crap - rain, storms, strong winds and temps back to 17C after being in the mid 20s for the past few days. It was the wettest September day in 100 years. Over 100mm (4") in 24 hours.

Mind you I've been in weather like that quite a lot when I lived in New Zealand. It's quite common there but I've been living here for nearly 3 years now and I've forgotten what it's like

Today: Mostly sunny until around noon, then becoming partly sunny. Slight chance of an isolated afternoon t'storm, but most areas will be dry. Highs 78 to 82. Wind becoming southwest at 7 to 12 mph.

One of the trees in my yard is doing that too. I thought it was because it was worn out from producing all the fruit it did this past spring.

It's a beautiful cooler day here in CA, downright chilly last night! The leaves are starting to fall and there is a definite change. I'm so happy for the change in weather!!! Now, to find someone to keep me warm!

Right. I've seen it being made. Sara Moulton made it on her show. I'm trying to remember what tool she used to make it. I thought it was very clever. A hand hel flat grater, maybe?
