I told a guy on here the other day that I have fucked for things other than pleasure and he acted like women never do that.

In my "dating years", it was not at all unusual for me to have full intercourse on a first date. I was never worried if the person would call again, or respect me in the morning. If I decided I wanted to do it, I would. Not every time, that depended on the circumstances and if there was any "turn on" factor at all. That said, it happened quite a few more times than not. Any ladies out there that care to weigh in on the topic? Guys, we all know you would do it anytime it was offered.

There are lots of men who use sex to get what they want and they are actually pretty darn good at it.

Interesting? For me they were great! There were so many women who were exercising their new found independence it truly made my heart soar. A comfort between the sexes came to light. We openly talked about sex and how it differed for women compared with men. We were never so open and honest with each other. My memory of that short time is as clear as if it was yesterday. This is one of a few things about American sitcoms / dramas that really pisses me off*: sex on a first date.

According to TV Law: - If a woman has sex on a first date she is a slut. If however she abstains until say the 3rd date, she is allowed to go on as many 3rd dates with as many different men as she chooses. By this logic if a woman only dates one man in her entire life but fucks him on a first date she is easy, but having 100 3rd dates and fucking 100 different men is ok.

And I am not saying that the latter case is not okay.

I don't know about the rest of you, but most of my partners have not been on a first date, or any date . Instead they have been girls / women I have known previously (or not) and happened to meet on a night out, then alcohol and nature have taken their course. Sometimes this has been full blown sex, sometimes not, sometimes it has led to further dates, other times not.

I don't understand this inorganic set of rules when it comes to the intimacy between two people who either do or do not fancy each other. If you feel like having sex on that occasion do so, if you feel like waiting that is good too.

*One of the other 'rules' of TV is that if somebody goes for the second bottle of beer then they are an alcoholic.
