Son Of Jimbo's Troll Garden

I just saw some much bigger. I wasn't impressed with my guys taste. Smaller is sweeter.

Prolly just need to ask your guy to wash his junk occasionally, try drinking some pineapple juice. If hes gonna want you to keep gummin his glands hes gotta make an effort with the rag on a stick.

Think bout the words your daddy usta say, there are no free mustache rides in life.

That second pic really made me laugh. Someone has too much time on their hands and a fondness for carrots.

I gotta agree with you on that. Homo carrot obsessors give me the creeps.

Now that I think about it.........Agreeing with YOU isn't doing much for me either.

Don't go to work at a medical ER, its nuthin but carrots and gerbils all weekend.

If I told you the 1/2 of it you'd think I'm a pathological liar. I prefer to tone it down.

I don't use pesticides in my garden. Mostly I use wasps to control buggy varmints. But wasps don't work the night shift and plenty of bugs do.

So what I do is collect cheap wire mesh trash baskets from the dollar store and cover the leafy plants over nite when the moths and grasshoppers are active.

Sweet Potato Harvest

1.Sweet Potatoes like to poke outta the ground when theyre ready. Use a low nitrogen fertilizer or get leaves and vines but few tubers. I use compost (1/2 percent nitrogen) or a blossom grade fertilizer with 2% nitrogen. You want blossoms and roots NOT leaves.

2. Mature tuber. Prolly one pound.

Sweet Potato slips (starter plants) are expensive, I use runt tubers too small to eat for 'seeds'.

Troll Tutorial

I use fresh seeds and germinate them with rainwater or bottled water to avoid the toxic effects of city water. City water is loaded with anti-biotic chemicals, and seeds are biotics.

But city water may be good for killing biotics in the soil around plants. I need to test the idea.

I have trees in need of trimming that are beyond the reach of my pruning saw so I did some research and discovered a rope pull chainsaw. Its a chainsaw blade with attached ropes to pull the blade across the limb.

I watched a woman demonstrate one. She threw the rope over a limb, got the blade in the right place, pulled the ropes, and the limb fell off in about 30 seconds.

Just planted several Mustard greens.

Mustards are in the spinach family, common around the world except in the USA, and harvest at around 6 weeks after putting the seeds in the ground. The look like lettuce.

Theyre loaded with vitamins and minerals.

I cook them like collards, turnip greens. But there are many recipes and uses for Mustards.
