The rope saw is OK but not all its made out to be. It cuts well but wants to stick in the cut track and doesn't move over small branches with ease.

AND THE BEAT GOES ON.

2nd limb down. Tomorrow Z comes off, then A, B, and C

The guide rope is for the rope saw.

I think about every cut because limbs affect how the tree falls. Low limbs have a huge effect, high limbs not so much.

I use a fishing rod, James. Use a non-snag weight (I find the tear drop with swivel best), tie your guide rope to the sinker end when it's in place, and reel it back in. A good bit safer and easier to control than a bow and arrow, I've used it for Christmas decorating as well.

I'm gonna try using a golf ball with fishing line or string. Its cheaper than a long bow or fishing rod/reel.

Time to plant the Winter garden.

In Florida we get a free Winter growing season. So I have seeds for LETTUCE, SPINACH, BROCCOLI, CAULIFLOWER. I generally grow ICEBERG and ROMAINE lettuce.
