We are about to leave for dinner at the best restaurant in the county. Unfortunately, it ain't much of a county. The official name is Amador but we call it Amateur County. Some of that lack of professionalism overflows the county lines into Sacramento, San Joaquin, and (Jumping Frog) Calaveras too. We used to have a good eatery nearby, run by a Chez Panisse co-founder, but it's gone now. What is *really* the best around here? Redneck hamburgers at Mr Meaty.

I can’t answer that at thismoment because I ‘m distractewd by the musical gruntrings of thee cupl;e in the adjoinnning suite bumping uglies.

I claim a medical exemption on this, but no beans would definitely help. The red wine was definitely better than the white, thanks. I had bought a box of sauvignon blanc but it's nowhere near as good as the box that I usually buy: Big House White. As it's primarily for son #3 whose palate is still somewhat unrefined, no harm and no foul. The red was a blend by Bogle that was a steal at well under $15.
