Songs/pieces of music that bring tears to your eyes/take your breath away, etc.

I thought "indie" singer-songwriter types were supposed to use guitars, not grand pianos... :):):)

I always thought that the band's whole catalog must be like that song. I found them on You Tube and was amazed at how good that band was.
I have to admit the reason this song gets to me is that I had a major crush on Linda LaFlamme ever since I saw the group open for Cream way back in 1968.

Today...Jefferson Airplaine..on the Surrealistic Pillow Album:rose:
Another of my fav albums. But my fav song is "White Rabbit." I still get chills when Grace Slick hits that last note!!!

PS - I saw her perform that song once, pre-Airplane, with The Great Society. I got no chills that time..

It sounds like we need to talk "The Joys of excellent music "...Music and sex...hummm what's left out?...oh yeah...drugs...are my thang...PM me if you want to trip or even skip the light fandango some time...:rose::D

It's probably been mentioned already but "When I See You Again" by Wiz Khalifa.

Also, Wild Horses by the Rolling Stones. Been listening to a lot of covers lately and no matter who does it, it chokes me up.

Recently was up at 2 a.m. and caught the Season 2 finale of Rick and Morty on Adult Swim. Went to look up the song that plays at the end of the episode("Hurt" by NIN) because it kinda appealed to me in that delicious, emo dude kind of way. Found the Johnny Cash version and that made me cry.

Creed's "With arms wide open...", it ran through my head as I'm driving to the hospital the morning my father died. And "Better Days" by Faith Hill, this song was emailed to me by my best friend when I was going through very trying financial times, and sadly a couple of years later, she passed away...
