Item! I just saw a chilling documentary on the state of music. The film is This Is Spinal Tap. It's directed by Meathead (Remember? From All In the Family?), and it follows the band Spinal Tap on tour. If this is the music that kids like, then I'm glad to be 34.

Errrr... Spinal Tap is a parody "rockumentary" that came out in the early 80's. It is about a fictional 60's British band called Spinal Tap (think Beatles, Stones, Kinks, Who, Queen) that has been off the radar and is embarking on a US tour coinciding with the release of their new "Smell the Glove" album.

The movie is hilarious, as are the lyrics to the songs, which are surprisingly good. I know this is a Meatloaf thread, but if you like that genre, you've got to see this movie, you will be ROFL!

Meatloaf is awesome, though I've never had the fortune of seeing him in concert. Pure, raw emotion. Got through my first breakup on "Dead Ringer":
