Thirdly- thank you for the report on the Concert...I am SO looking forward to going, especially with those songs he sang. I am getting excited now

I am going to put his CD on now..I need livening up..my head is sore, my body aches..and I have to do it all again tomorrow.
Just think, this time next week, I will be seeing Meatloaf, hearing his power.

Back to an earlier post, I have to agree that when Meat was fat..he was at his best then, he had more power, more presence...to think, "Bat" came out some 25 years ago now!

Ukin i dont' know what type of arena that he is going to preform in....Last nite he was at one of the casion's here....seats about 500 people...He did two shows....

But i do know i'm sure that if he was at a bigger place...more amps...and such his power would have come through even more...

Don't get me wrong..it was great...

But yes..to have seen him 25 years ago....Would have been my dream...and you haven lived it...

All i get to do is pass by Graceland...5 days aweek...but you are the lucky one.

The place I am going to see Meat is an outdoor Amphitheatre, holds 5000 and I would be willing to bet that it's a sell out, but yes, to have seen him in a big concert hall-like I did in Sheffield, England, playing to something like 8,000 Meatloaf fans...the sound was awesome...you actually felt the floor vibrating.

I am back...tired but what a show....what a show he put on..not the best I have seen him, but he is older lol..and his voice is still awesome.

The ladies hahaha..Pearl the daughter is nice, but as you say, his lead lady (Patty Rouso) has one hell of a voice...not as strong as Mrs Loud (who did the female vocals on I'd Do Anything...) but the opening songs she did were brilliant.
When he did Paradise, he stopped, looked over and said "This is the first time I have done this by a lake"! The venue was a Harbor resort....open air and I guess around 4500 people there.

In one word...AWESOME.

Going back next month to see Blondie...hope she is still not wearing a bra hahahaha

No, I went on my own..but I wasn't alone, as you say, his fans are like one big happy family..all age groups..yes, some older than me lol.
