story rejected

The only ways to avoid having your work posted elsewhere without your permission is to not post it on the internet, or register a formal copyright for each story you write/publish.

Actually, only the first part is true. Having registered for the formal copyright won't prevent your work being hijacked. What it does do, however, is give you the legal ammunition to go after anyone who does it and, if you discover them and take them to court, to prevail in a court of law.

The author does own the copyright the moment he or she creates the work. Certifying that creation is the legal part.

This is irrelevant. The people running the board make the rules. It's like buying a house in an area with an HOA. You may not like it, but you agree to the rules when you buy in. There are other places to go that have different rules, or no rules. If I wanted to write about a subject that wasn't allowed here, whether I was happy about it wouldn't make much difference. I might ask that the rules be changed, but they are under no obligation to change them. Other sites may be smaller and have fewer readers, but they are there.

Well it is actually. It's easy enough to say "agree with the rules" if it doesn't affect you. If everybody banned what they found distasteful, then there'd be no Literotica.com

Like I've said before, why do the administrators find incest & anal sex OK, then find something wrong with fictional Lolita characters?

Well, maybe, but Literotica is a privately-run site and they can make the rules they want. That's not censorship. They have the right to refuse, and you know that ahead of time. There's a lot here that's distasteful to me but I'm not asking anyone to ban it. It's not like they took a vote (so far as I know) and made the rules based on that. They have the site -- you can use it or not.

As sr71 said, you'd be best to ask them. It seems to me that the bottom line is that they want the characters to be adults. Even in the incest stories, the characters have to be 18.

Look, other sites, like EroticStories.com are more restrictive -- they don't permit stories about rape, or incest, or violence. StoriesOnlinet.net has no limits (to my knowledge). You can post at these places, or others,or make your own if you aren't satiisfed with the rules here.

If your beef is that you think because Lit is the biggest site of its kind (or one of the biggest) that they should allow everything, then I disagree.

Lynn, I'll Make It Simple For You

If you don't like the rules on the site, find another. Or start your own. Or play by the rules here. Comprenez? Do you roger my last, over?
