Ohhh the Cowboys going to kick my ass...but too freakin bad..I figure he's got about 3 weeks or so to calm down

Mav went to the hospital last night with chest pains...they kept him and have been running tests...they are transferring him to another hospital to do a heart catherization this afternoon...health care system sucks..seems the hospital he is at only does it on certain days..

When I know anything more I will let you know..ahh yeah he's going to be pissed that I said anything but TOUGH TITTIES....I figure it this way a few extra prayers can't hurt.What the hell if he spanks me I just might like it

Don't worry about him being pissed at you. The cowboy seems pretty mellow....and even if he isn't just tell him if he wants to get mad at you he'll have me to deal with......and I fight dirty.

I just got off the phone with My Cowboy....there were 3 blockages....2 they opened up an put stents {sp?}in...the 3 one they left alone something about it rerouted itself {not quite sure} I was too excited to understand what the hell he meant...Both his hips the arteries were also blocked...they opened the one up and they are going to do the other Monday...not sure if they are keeping him week-end or releasing him...Of course he wants out NOW...

It was so wonderful to hear his VOICE to tell him I loved him...dam this just sucks being so far away.

Thanks for keeping him in your thoughts....we both appreciate it...

That is great Punkin! Boy he is going to feel a lot better come next week this time... Tell him to cool his jets and check out the cardiac unit nurses - they are a cut above the other ones most of the time.

Perhaps a giggle in your mug

Well, our buddy will be awake soon - he will want a cigarette, and a cup of real coffee. But in order to smoke he will have to go outside someplace, and he won't be zackly dressed for the public, and besides he will have to trail half the friggin' hospital behind him to get out there. That will make him grouchy.

Then they will bring the breakfast tray. Eventually. It is the weekend and the staff will be reduced, mostly over worked girls that are pulling down 12 hr. shifts. One taste of the heart healthy egg subsitute paste and he will be more grouchy. I hope he don't yell at the girls - right now they are just as much a victim of the hospital / insurance crisis in this country as he is. It is surprising that they are still trying, many of their buddies have said fuck it and have gone off to work in a private practice or strip in the dive down the street.

It will be tough on ole Mav, the next two days, today and tomorrow. Little Bit, PM me his number and I will call him and try to buck him up.

But having said all that, ole Mav will be feeling better today than he has in a long time. Rest in that my friends.

Oh man, I feel for you... I got out of the house about 8 last night and it was about as miserable as it could be. CJ is getting grouchier by the minute. She really hates August. You take care out there son...

I have packed all sorts of stuff for hospital stays, and mostly it goes unused. Stuff like that actually needs its environment, without the proper setting, like the desk at home, it just contributes to the discomfort.

It's good to see you both and I am thinking your right about Mav's visit today. He will be feeling better and that's what counts. I worked in a hospital a few years back. One never gets sleep even when they have you drugged outta your mind. Their always coming in to check the patient or cleaning up, leaving supplies, etc ... My heart goes out to him but I am very happy to hear he made it through the surgery so well.
