There is only a handful of days in the summer that AC is needed...looks like it is going to one of those days

R snoring last night reminded me of my Grandfather....his bedroom was in the back of the house....if you were in the front of the house you could still hear him sawing wood....R doesn't usually snore but with his glands so swollen he is having a hard time.

Last thing that needs to be cleaned out is under my bed.....YUCK...I really don't feel like crawling around on the floor this morning....but there are no magic elves to do the job for me...hate when that happens

Ok I'm bad....I keep putting off this under the bed thing....I have these conversations with myself...."How bad can it be it's only a double size bed?"...."Only sits maybe 6 or 8 inches off the ground".....I keep setting time limits..."Ok in ten minutes I'll get started" and then and hour goes by....."Call an make an appt for the brakes on the car and then go work on cleaning the stuff out from under the bed"...well the appt is made new front brakes going on tomorrow...and still I sit...."Hummm maybe I should have breakfast first?"

Yup I cleaned out under my bed ....that was the last thing that needed to be done. 3 sets of hand weights,assorted socks and shoes,yeah yeah pictures geeze,my butterfly hair clip that I sometimes use when I play hummmm let's see what else...oh a briefcase that my ex left behind...like I said STUFF!!!

So I'm patting myself on my back...yup I am...want to pat me on the butt?

Oh BTW...the confetti....YOU better vacume that stuff up before you leave...I'm done cleaning for the day

I noticed Ms. Audrey peering into her water bowl as if it was a nasty thing so I gathered it up and washed it out some and filled it about half full with tap water, and then set it before her.

She took a sniff and returned to just looking into the bowl.

Oh, okay... I went and got 4 icecubes from the ice maker bin and dropped them into her bowl. She watched them bauble about and listened them crack from the temperature change.

And at last, she took a drink, but only after the temperature had been reduced to suit her.

You don't suppose I have spoiled my cat, do you?

Getting new front brakes on my car this morning.....I'm going to ask the boys to check my car top to bottom..check fluid levels and tire pressure...going to ask them to imagine that there wife or girlfriend, sister or mother,there lover was driving this car cross country...and its there job to see that they get safely there

I think she finds more stuff to search through out there and probably more critters. I keep my house at near 80 most of the day. A bit lower at night cause I can't sleep well when it is too hot. Big savings on electricity. Only time I turn it down other wise is if it gets a little humid inside.

Heck, Beamer tells me that Mr B lays on the kitchen table in front of the fan to keep cool.



Yeah I got part of the closet cleaned out. Getting the cable and cable phone installed today and then I am going to work on getting rid of junk that has accumulated.

Boy the junk does accumulate. We moved to Oklahoma with a 3/4 ton stake bed and a Dodge Dart - it would take an 18 wheeler with a full 40' van to haul us off...

Ms. Audrey does have a penchant for pestering the crickets. I am curious to see how she does with the rolly pollies when they come out.

just walked back from dropping my car off...dam it's only 75 outside but with 86% humidity....

The owner offered to drive me home..but it's only a couple of blocks away

Going to miss these guys....hard to find an honest mechanic..they have always treated me very well
