Ah, Monday...

"Say hey, Blooze," you might ask... "What the fuck do you care if it's Monday or not. And are you getting dotty in your old age? Mondays suck, remember? You aren't sposed to look forward to Mondays."

Now, this is good and appropriate that you should ask that. If for no other reason, it proves that you have been paying attention. Well here's the answer... The goodness or badness of a day and its position in the week is relative to what has happened just recently (like yesterday), what might happen today (a quality assurance meeting maybe), and what is likely to happen for the rest of the week, (dealing with cranky customers, perhaps).

Yeah, I know... read it again, it makes sense if you go at it slow...

Anyhow... Monday. It means that I made it through Sunday. The fact that I am talking about it means that wasn't a blood letting and nobody is in jail. :D

Hope you all have a good day!

:) $

Well then, relatively speaking, this should be a great day for you....and you don't even have to worry about the jury thing till tonight :) ..... So instead of chatting with bored people....you could run out to the course while it still cool and get in 40 links ( so to speak) :D

And you could get that fancy machine of yours figured out so you could share some music with your friends. You could even share a "token" of enjoyment with RJ..

Morning Blooze, Morning Beam ( or Mav or whomever is using your ID today)

Have a great day all....

Heaven's!!

Just reading your post made me have to go take about a 30 minute Nap!

Those are all good ideas. Lets see...

RJ and Little C (who's bit of gold-bricking to get out of school backfired on him) are off with the pick-up to buy stuff to outline their new fire pit.

Golf, due to financial reasons, has been limited to once a week, and am currently in the process of entering into a discussion with RJ to get a day that is good for him so's we can both get exercise.

Yeah, I could work on the recording thing. But the cars has my attention at the moment. Perhaps tomorrow... ;)

Sheesh... now I need another nap!

With the two of you I'd say everyday is HUMP DAY

Heh, I got me another week off from schoo..., er  ...court. We must have us one deal makin' DA in this County is all I got to say. But then, if you have crookery on your mind, Tulsa is pretty close and it is probably a lot more profitable down there. Up here in the Osage Nation most folks is scramblin for just a pot to piss in, or a window to toss it out of.

So... coffee's on.

That being an auto manufacturer is a pain. I sold 15 of them, got 'em all put together and delivered 8. That will be a net of around 5 million when it is all done - not bad for a days work, but it is work! I was really scramblin' for a while, taking orders and stuff and trying to get the cars built. But, it would take a couple months of steady hackin' to make that much racing. Now I can consentrate on my experiments and testing without running my bankroll short.

Its all science with me, don't ya know... :D

What kind of fun stuff you guys up to today?

Must be too early in the morning. Thought about logging Beamer out and then forgot to do it.

Morning Blooze,

Seems as if you could give Hendrick Motorsports a run for their money with your car construction business.

What you plannin' to do with all that money? Maybe build a house trackside?

Glad you got time off from court. :D

Would love to take the day off to spend it with Beamer. It sucks but i am dedicated to my job and doing it right for the company. Heck they are working with me on the days off for the surgeries so I feel even more obligated. I hardly ever have missed work the whole time I've been there so it is par for the course. :D

Have a wonderful Tuesday.

Heh, CJ laughed and said it was too bad it wasn't real money...

Part of the attraction of the game for me is to treat it like it is. When you are first starting out, you are scrambling, cutting corners trying to get enough money to get the good cars so you can race the big races where the money is...

You're lucky to have a job that works with you on stuff like that. My company did right by me with both mine and Anne's troubles. That is a blessing, having a job like that.

I spect you and the Beamer is gonna get real tired of wavin' at each other on the way to and from work... :D

The days where it is really tough are the days where I work days and she works late. It cuts down the time we have to spend with each other.

LOL - my roommate in my short stint at Western State was a jock so he had all early workouts and classes. His alarm never woke him up. I would have to go rattle his chain to get him out of bed like I was his fuckin' Mother or something...

Now me, majoring in Double I, I had all afternoon classes so's I could spend the morning's recovering...

The combination of having a cat for a roommate, and eating Buffalo Wings at my computer desk makes for fuzzy greasy globs getting caked onto the pads of my mouse.

It is sort of gross, really...

The Wally World Deli here has a sort of Dry Smoked kind of wings, they don't have all that goopy sauce on them. They are pretty good.

I buy a pound of 'em about every time I hit the store anymore... they make good munchies. Toss three or four on a paper plate and nuke 'em for about 30 seconds and you're in business...

Sounds like you have been keeping those hands of yours pretty busy in the garage building cars!

Been working on any tunes or have you been trying to keep the grease of the guitars?

LOL - I wash 'em before I play the guitars. Yes, mostly practicing technique tho... Combination flat picking and frailing to go along with my double thumb picking. I am really liking the way it sounds.

I really need to get the recorder going...

Hey El, let's record music instead of painting bedrooms... :D

I just hear-d a thunder... guess we're getting rained on too...

Boy howdy, did we get a rain... knocked power out - drownt damn near every frog in the county, I swear...

RJ and I had an assault on the golf course planned for this morning. We conferenced last night and decided it should be a game time decision - neither one of us are mudders...

I am off to examine the results of my latest build.

You all have a good day...

It really was a good long hard rain yesterday here.

I think the grass is actually waking up from its dormancy.

Do you have rubber golf shoes?

:D

Have a happy hump day!

The foot wear isn't the issue so much as the golf course itself. A good sized chunk of it is bottom land and right up against a marsh. When it gets wet, it becomes non-negotiable with the carts, and almost on foot. Thick, heavy, black mud that is slicker than snot. Most folks just stay off the course when it is wet like this, at some point Roger shuts it down as well. His greens, which is all he has really, take a beating when the ground is real wet.

Wednesday... Wednesday... something on Wednesday. Hell, I don't know

I may have to call Sarge... she keeps track of stuff real good.

Say hey to your lovely lady for me. :rose:
