there you go, changing the subject! ;)

:D

She is a master at diverting attention. Ask her about the weather and she'll give you a recipe for Greek Pastry, ask her how she is and she'll do a magic trick, ask her to show some pics and.....well that she is willing to do.

Good Morning My Friend:kiss:

Just saw the latest addition to your extended family.

OMG JUST ADORABLE

Good Morning Little Bit... :)

Isn't he, though?? I will post a pic for those who are wondering...

He his J's new project and love interest - the plan is to train him up as one of those agility competition dogs. You know, the ones that run around hopping over fences and up and down teeter-totters (see-saw; sp ) and through tunnels and such. It should be a hoot to see - the silly dogs (Corgies) don't have hardly no legs...

Damn, my finger tips are such meat on my left hand that typing is tender this morning. I have been really been putting the hours on the bluegrass pickin'. At least it is starting to show some improvement.

We are all a muggy/sticky here this morning, again. Gettin' tired of this weather.

I know what you mean... That little pup that sings the "Ain't got no bugs on me..." commercial hits me the same way.

Oh, you are in for a treat later on this summer Little Bit...

Now I understand why people from the South spend summers in the north!!!

So what's you been working on?

What I've been working on...

I came away from the various jam sessions at the Peaceful Bend Festival with a pretty good punch list as far as my playing goes. A good piece of it is repretorie... I just don't know the songs well enough to play the melodies. And there are a number of tec-knuckle issues as well. I have fly-away fingers, especially where my ring and little fingers are concerned. I tend to lift them too far from the fingerboard, and they also tend to move together, so, besides learning new songs, I have been doing a number of drills, mostly scales, and concentrating on keeping my fingers as quiet as possible - no excess flailing.

My fiddle song list...
- Old Joe Clark
- Forked Deer
- St. Anne's Reel
- Turkey in the Straw
- Arkansas Traveler
- Blackberry Blossum

...has grown to include...
- Red Haired Boy
- Angeline the Baker
- Bill Cheatum

...and I am working on adding:
- Magic Foot
- Bonepart's Retreat
- Eighth of January
- Soldier's Joy

Additionally, I try to run through as many of my singing songs as I can in a session.

It looks somewhat organized, but no where near what I'd like. Many times I find myself just picking somewhat aimlessly through a chord progression and thinking about Annie...

Sorry to interrupt, but the North can be just as muggy as the South. Take it from a Yankee that has visited down there. :D
Just dont have the threats of the twisters that you folks down there do. ;)

Kind of amazing isn't it how us procrastinaters can make great list:cool:

There is a time to do music lessons and a time to pick an grin an daydream...sometimes they blend together:D

I live closer to the Atlantic. We get the hot and humid weather most of the summer. From June through mid-September, it can get very ugly up here. :D

.

Good Morning Lovely Lady:kiss:

Makes you just want to scoop up the little one and cuddle him to your chest, stroke him and coo!"OHHHHHHHHHH your sooo CUTE":D

Living along the lake was a two sided sword. In the winter it brought "Lake Effect snow" but the summer brought cool breezes

LOL. Every year the news casts show pictures of Buffalo, usually buried under 5 feet of snow, and talking about the lake effect snow. I love the snow, but I think even I would get sick of shovelling every 4 hours just to keep up with it. :D

Like I said, I love snow, but that may be too much even for me. My back is starting to hurt just thinking of all the shovelling I would need to do. :(

But when it would be done, I would be the first one out there with the kids having a ball in it. After growing up out west, you have a better appreciation for those types of things.

Good morning Punkin... :)

LMAO - I did that... and CJ warned me off.

"Stop!" she chastened, "You'll make him pee like you did Percy!"

She's all the time ruinin' my fun...:(
