This is the Internet. Nobody has threatened you directly, although you have not been so careful - you told Gracie that you were going to sic your Oregon friends on her, and THAT could be construed as a direct threat. But since you yourself have not been threatened, there is nothing your attorney will be able to do.

I say this because I have been directly threatened and harassed by someone on this board, who I did not even know, who wanted to bother me because I'm a mod and I could supposedly convince the admins to do this person's bidding. Yes, I really did get Lit's legal department involved, as well as my local police department (a very nice detective). This person had obtained my physical address and phone number etc by hacking my Yahoo account (it's no secret what town I live in, so they tried all the local zip codes till they were able to get a password sent to them), and I was in genuine fear at that time. And you know what? Despite this person having my actual RL information, despite him making actual RL threats, despite all of this...there was nothing that could be done.

Yes, I am certain that all that did happen as you describe it. But people have a way of modifying behavior if their PC gets taken in a discovery motion. Dad has money, I'm not concerned. If he cares enough about me to drop whatever he wants to in order to make a statement, more power to him.

Thank you, because it surely did happen, and let me tell you I was genuinely in fear at the time.

However, you seem to have missed my point: there is no "discovery" involved here. It cannot get to that stage. That is what I was saying.

But yes, if you have someone in your life who wants to take the time to do that, that is good for you.

Etoile, as far as Gracie goes, the fact is that I have had friends in the lifestyle for a number of years. I don't know anything about the woman actually. I don't know where she lives or whatever. But, kindof like a lot of clubs that I have been a part of, you make friends and we all look after each other. If people want to say anything about me in a public setting where my friends are, out in the real world, not this world, and my friends are there. then they get to justify whatever they say.

Why would anyone say anything about you in real life???
