Tallness

Tall woman can indeed be sexy! although there is a limit to this I think.

I am 6'6" myself, and I once met a woman my own height, walking around the corner nearly bumping in to me it kind of freaked me out.

I had seen her sitting down and from a distance, but being new to the job (only a few days) never that close. She really was a nice girl, but seemed to have lost all her grace to due her length. (like Edensgarden mentioned already)

Still, tall legged woman who CAN be graceful are amongst natures greatest gift :)

A 6'6'' lady. 6'6''... no jokes?
Attractive? Or losing that certain femininity as well as grace?

No jokes indeed!

could have been an inch off, but I was looking STRAIGHT into her eyes when talking to her.

I can't call her ugly, but some parts did seem out of whack somehow.
The female shape isn't really meant to be streched that far it seems.

If everything is in proportion then I can indeed imagine certain hotness :D

But I often find tall woman are "build too solid", The tall gene seems to be mixed with broad shoulders, manly hips and without the great rack.

Tis such a shame!
But women are getting taller I am sure of it.

love my height

Im a leggy 6' tall. felt awkward being tall when I was younger but I've come to love it & I'm always getting complimented on my legs.

I'm 6 foot 2 and on the small side for my family.

Some of my cousins, nephews and nieces are much taller than I am.

One relative used to say that she was 'five foot thirteen' because it sounded less than six foot one. But she wasn't six foot one. She was six foot three in her bare feet and often wore high heels. When younger, her only reasonable dancing partners were her brothers who were six foot six and seven.

I have had girlfriends of my height, or near to it, who appreciated being able to wear high heels when with me, without looking as if they were out of proportion.

Back in the swinging sixties I was filmed by a TV news crew when walking down Kings Road Chelsea. I was wearing my 'City' uniform of pinstriped suit with bowler hat, carrying a black OHMS briefcase. She was wearing a short Royal Stewart Tartan miniskirt with a skinny, bodyhugging top, and high heeled shoes. The file crew concentrated on her, not me. She was six foot three in bare feet and her four inch heels made the top of her head level with the crown of my bowler hat.

The crew had to film us passing other people to show the contrast in size. She was spectacular - but as a boyfriend/girlfriend we only lasted a few weeks. She was a physical education teacher with ambitions to be an Olympic athlete and our interests didn't coincide. I took her to ballet which she enjoyed but thought the ballerinas, although fit, were far too small and the men were too short for her. I took her to an opera - the soprano was too fat...

She never made the Olympics but married a distant acquaintance of mine who was taller than she was, and equally athletic. Their two daughters grew to be taller than their parents, and the grandchildren are heading that way.

How tall she is really doesn't mater that much to me. I am more into petite women.
My wife is a foot shorter than I am.

Petite woman catch my eye too :D

But cute petite girls seem to be in much better supply then attractive tall woman!

And what is rare, always becomes desirable :D

I think you may be limiting yourself to some wonderful pleasures...

I have been called an Amazon by men before but am not "built too solid" as you refer to above. I suppose my tall gene came with small bones.

My shoulders are definitely not broad. I have been told they are quite sexy, making them very kissable and suckable.

Manly hips? Can a female really have manly hips? Child bearing hips maybe.... My hips are definitely not manly by any means. They are curvy and give you something to hold onto when staring at my ass. Start kissing me at my belly button and slowly work your way down....then tell me about manly hips.

As for the great rack....I guess that depends on if you prefer a D cup or an A cup. Great racks are definitely in the eye of the beholder. I am in the middle with a 36/38 B/C (all depends on the bra?!!?). Never had any complaints about these puppies either.

I guess my point is that the generalization you are making about tall women could not be further from the truth. You may be falling short by not looking past the height. For some reason Thomas seems about ten feet tall...;)

I usually find that gangly awkwardness to be endearingly cute. So yeah, she may not have that glamorous beauty of a graceful tall woman, but instead she's a tall woman with girl-next-door beauty.

women in my family are pretty tall. I'm 6'6. my sister is 5'10. my mother is pretty average but my grandmother is 5'11, must be where we get it from.

And may I please ask on behalf of all of us who adore the taller lady, do you enjoy wearing heels Miss?

Firstly, thank you for sharing an anecdote into your life with the taller ladies. I want to right back with something more intelligent that a simple sentence but find I can't quite find the words. I'm just glad your happy and that that singular relationship that went awry didn't change your life too drastically. In short, I'm sorry that relationship didn't work out, but it appears many more did in its wake.

To move onto the more perverse reply, the idea that there are girls out there taller than the atheltic lady you spoke of is merely mindblowing. I find women around 6' to be tall and realistically tall at that, anything above I think are either rarities or me being dreamy. What I am learning however is that taller ladies are about as common as the shorter ones, which gives me hope. At 5'6'' I'd look like a halfling if I ever met your family!

I like woman of all sizes, shapes and color- variety makes the world a beautiful place. Since this thread is about tallness...lets salute those towering honeys.

Ah, the film that spawned a thousand macrophiliacs.
And yes, so do I. I enjoy women, to be honest, for women are wonderful creatures that brighten my day every day.

Firstly, you sound divine miss.

Secondly, I would like to mention that I do not believe ALL tall women fall into this less feminine category. it is that merely from experience - walking around town etc - that I find that women aren't as feminine once they reach a certain height. perhaps it is just my area, or my eyes.

Women come in a vast variety of forms - to sound crude - and I don't not doubt one as kissable and distracting as your fair self do not exist. I generalise here simply because it is simpler when talking just about height; in the real world of what is attractive so many other aspects come into play.

And how can one like myself be 10 ft tall!

Hi Thomas,

My response was not directed at you, but rather a different poster's comment. Please refer to my post again for the quote in question.

In my opinion, you have made no generalizations other than the fact that you love tall women....period. :)

Oh indeed Miss, I saw the other quote. I merely wished to explain my point of view just in case.

Regardless I am still going to repeat my statement that you sound divine. How tall are you again miss, if you don't mind my asking?

5'11"

I may be a long ladder...but you will have an extremely good time climbing to the top.

*blinks... blushes... blinks again*

I would love to go climbing...

I've been lucky enough to experience women of all sizes. Things that have been wonderful about the taller ones...

They have wonderful graceful long limbs that feel great wrapped around you.
They can look you dead in the eye and kiss you without straining your neck.
Everything lines up wonderfully, making certain things easier when standing up :)
There are many more but these are at the top of my mind.

A lot of people have said this as a reason they like tall women.

I love tall women because I'm only 5'6''... so much the opposite reason.

I'm 5'10". Although I have a strong preference for men that are tall (there's something about a tall man that makes you feel extra feminine), I had an epiphany a couple years ago when I realized that by automatically weeding out men who were shorter than me, i was excluding half the population of men in the US. 5'6" is too small for me to feel comfortable next to, but I do date a guy off and on who is 5'8". I wear flats, and we don't dance. Lol :)
