If another AH poster asked for a link to one of your stories and then a short time later, you noticed a big score drop and one new vote, what conclusion would you draw?
Which would be removed on the next sweep. I wonder if Laurel and Manu keep a list of people who cause them extra work through their behaviour. I sure hope so.He lined up on your story, took the bomber down low, hit you with a one-bomb...
I wouldn't automatically assume it was the person who asked for the link. There's plenty of assholes who lurk this forum. If another AH poster asked for a link to one of your stories and then a short time later, you noticed a big score drop and one new vote, what conclusion would you draw?
To have four 750 word stories all above 4.5 is quite an impressive accomplishment. It would be a fun little project to compare the average score in each category between standard stories and 750 stories. I’d predict at least a 0.2 difference if not a whole lot more. Congrats, BTW.They mostly didn't get as many views or as high of scores as my longer stories.
Bah! Humbug! Cheater! It looks like one of mine (Suburban Venus Lingerie) didn't get included on the list, probably the one I was most proud of on a structural level
But whateves, I had a blast! They mostly didn't get as many views or as high of scores as my longer stories. Except for Bob's Furniture Barn, I have no idea why that one struck a chord with people. But they all got a surprising amount of comments, about half from other authors which was neat
My numbers as of March 1st:

We'll see if they go up or down in the coming days, but who cares, the fun-to-labor ratio on them was wonderful!
My gut feel, based on not much, is a 0.3 to 0.4 difference. On one of mine, the Vote/View ratio is typical 1:100 and the score is not bad. On the other (with the lower score), it's a less typical 1:60, and the score is lower. The 750 scores are possibly more honest (based on what I think I know about sweeps). To have four 750 word stories all above 4.5 is quite an impressive accomplishment. Two of my stories are still missing. 4 out of 6 ain't bad I guess.Today's list has expanded from the original. Current total: 223 (from 216 on the initial list.)
Double entry authors: 18
More than two: 22
three of mine still are. I have a PM to Laurel about it. But given how many were missing, I'm assuming she has a lot of PMs right now.Two of my stories are still missing. 4 out of 6 ain't bad I guess.
One of the missing ones is a counterpart to one that's listed, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered. Of the six I'd submitted, I'd rather the two that were "paired" be listed than any of the others.I had seven in the event, and six made it to the list. I didn't bother Laurel with asking it to be included in the list.
Looks like at least 13 of them didn't make the final list here. I double checked mine and they are all tagged.
