The 2026 [lit] 750 Word Project Support Thread

Sad of me, but I even went back and checked some of my pre-AI stories against an AI Text Detector and they failed :(

Maybe I am just a reincarnation of ChatGPT 0.5 or something of that ilk.
The online ai checkers are useless crap. If I wanted to go full tinfoil hat on this, I would say they were purposefully introduced to obscure what is AI and what isn’t

Hark! A clue as to why it slipped through. 'Files' often have a slew of garbage characters not otherwise visible.

I’ve always enjoyed the coming of February and the challenge. Tomorrow morning will drop what will be my 24th entry in this format. Maybe not necessarily my best effort, but it’s worthy of a publish. I still have ideas for more and will never say never but I think that 24 is a good number to stop at. It’s time to sit back and move on to other challenges. Good luck everyone.

I got stuck editing on a paragraph that I have no idea how to do. Couldn't backup this to my phone, but I called in a favor and I'll load the backup where I left it off because the last time I edited this was before the turn of the year, so at least is in an USB.

I could write a new one from scratch because this takes less than 30 minutes, but I rather finish that thing because it's a scene I wanted to use on a story, but never found the proper story to put it, so it's on her own now.

A big thank you for whoever thought up this challenge. I've been reading past years' stories. 750 words is definitely a coffee break read.

Can you copy and paste the paragraph in an email and send it to yourself? I've done that before. Works with Yahoo for sure

Not when I have my most recent backup on an USB stick and I don't have an OTG plug that is USB-C. The file is in my hard drive, and I can't access to it. That's the whole reason I actually had to edit my Valentine's entry from scratch instead of drafting it from zero again: I backed up the first draft to my phone, but I didn't back up everything that I was supposed to back up.

could someone explain what it means by "On March 1st, the full list of all challenge stories will be posted under the Literotica account."

most importantly:
1. do i keep full control of the story for if i want to edit or delete it?
2. does it link back to my account in some way?

from what i can see both are the case, but i just wanna be sure.

also is this like a contest with a winner or just like an event to try?

Stories will be published as they come, but the full list will be published on 1st March. There is no prize (it's a challenge, not a competition). Don't ever count on being able to edit or delete your stories quickly when published - publishing doesn't work like that.
