Isn't the county where it's made a dry county? I remember going to Mammoth Caves and not being able to get a bottle anywhere.Kentucky truly is Bourbon Country. They have brands you've never heard of. They have the "Bourbon Trail" where you can go from distillery to distillery sampling the wares.
I doubt that I would ever have gotten past the third one. No need . . . .
Happy Wednesday!!! The rain is out, but the after effects are headed this way in the river valley. Joy! Work continues to frustrate.
The plumber is Salvadoran and very smart and educated. He's a constant source of amusement, and he's a good plumber. His #1 helper is Ukrainian. He's also fun when he isn't depressed. He's lost friends in the madness there. Anyway, he says they teach English in schools there from when the kids are little, but he was a poor student. When time came, he learned English from MTV and porn, he says.
That is why this picture's moment hasn't happenedI said I am sorry

I used to come to this office in Cincinnati all the time. I’ve always wanted to do a bourbon tour, but never really had the time for any willing accomplices or an Uber driver or all of the above.
I never trust airport stores, but there’s a good bourbon store in the airport here in Covington. I always go home with a bottle or two.
The plumber expats sound like a good crew. People I would get along with.
Have a great day.

Good morning Wonderer! The Tiger game was typical for this team. Good pitching, defense and excellent base running.Thank you for the virtual coffees, older mom! Late night of getting documents done and watching baseball.
Tigers, royals and Mets all won. And Atlanta lost. (Yay!)
I keep seeing and hearing, but all the devastation in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida… (and other locations). It was so much worse, and then anyone had thought, hundreds are dead and my prayers are out to them.
Also, those with no homes and or not utilities. Just complete devastation.
Be thankful for what you have and those you have. Big hugs to all.
It might be, there are a number of dry counties in Kentucky.Isn't the county where it's made a dry county? I remember going to Mammoth Caves and not being able to get a bottle anywhere.

There's more for everyone since Wat no longer imbibes the stuff.

That was how I felt at the time. It was around 2003 or so. I didn't get any on the way and the guy I was with only brought a sixpack. I did have fun. We camped for several days. I just didn't drink lol.It might be, there are a number of dry counties in Kentucky.
I couldn’t find anything on Google, but that would be the ultimate mind fuck. Great whiskey! Ya just can buy or drink it here!
As of July 2022 there are 10 dry counties in Kentucky : Allen,Bath,Casey,Crittenden,Clinton,Elliott,Hancock,Jackson,Marin, and Owen. Some other counties restrict beer and alcohol sales as well. Saw a shit ton of people I haven’t seen in five or six years coming, including my old boss. The meetings were very productive.
Then a dinner with a bunch of people. And working late afterwards to catch up on all of the fuckin emails.
Long damn day and night. The good news: Kentucky is bourbon country so had a few glasses. Uber home.
“See” you all tomorrow!!

I'm often tapped as a two-fer since I don't drink alcohol. I'm often the designated driver for family members.willing accomplices or an Uber driver
