At least the variety opens you up to trying new recipes.
Very true.

i like finding creative recipes by googling stuff. (Altho is it me or do the recipes have 20 paragraphs of fucking descriptions and the history of the goddam recipe and you have to decipher it or get all the way to the bottom of the GD article?)

All I want is the goddam motherfuckin recipe!!

Sorry - rant over.

Had a great day. My sister came down from upstate NY and brought AMAZING pumpernickel from a local bakery.

(Werenā€™t we talking abt that a day or two ago??)

My sisters and I jointly take care of my mom, so we talked about dental options and what would make the most sense. For dinner, I made a really good meal if I do say so myself: salmon pesto. I made the pesto myself (recipe below) and picked a buncha fresh basil. Just schmeared it on top of the salmon and cooked it on the charcoal grill.

Pesto Recipe

2.5 cups of fresh basil
1/4 cup pine nuts or walnuts*
6 large cloves of garlic or 4-5 tsp of already minced garlic
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1/3 - 1/4 cup olive oil (depends how ya like it)
Salt and pepper to taste

Use the food processor to process the fuck out of it for about 30 seconds.

put it on top of stuff.

* heh hehā€¦ I said walnutsā€¦ heh heh

They do get long descriptive and itā€™s annoying. I jump to the recipe and save it.
