While I was having a sleepless night, I saw a post somewhere that going to a museum is a great way to reduce stress, increase excitement, and to put some Skip in one’s step!

That might be a fun way to shake up the routine. (I would love to go to the wright Patterson Air Force Museum in Dayton.)

Don’t skip Wright Pat! It’s fantastic! The WW1 room was my favorite. I do have a funny story about it…

Friend of mine was an Air Force Col. One of the birds in the modern jet room was one of his former squadrons airplanes. If you don’t know, usually those planes that end up on sticks out front or in the museum were either retired or totaled due to some kind of hard landing or other mishap.

Well, he was going through training at our new job and got a few friends to help him out with a clandestine mission! He still keeps up with the friend who put that bird in the WP museum and so they go in, post look outs, and stenciled his name on the outside of the pilots forward seat!. Then took pics and sent it to him…he said he got a kick out of it!

Morning all. Not sure what I did. screaming wrist & thumb pain in one hand. While mostly ambidextrous, this is quite the painful hassle. Will try keeping things short/simple for a while. Thank goodness for ice!

I've been exchanging notes with Lilianna every two or three days. She's doing better over time. Says she's not having a funeral, just going to sprinkle her husband's ashes in their favorite lake. She seems in pretty good spirits, and hopefully she'll get the closure she needs to move on and enjoy her life again. Says she misses everyone on here and is looking forward to rejoining us soon.
